Maybe if you're a ma and pa shop, but chasing them out is an absolute PR nightmare for any franchise fast food joints. The employees were absolutely in the wrong to use hot boiling water, but at the same time the customers should not have gone behind the counter. Meaning there is no way for the customer to just waltz into thr employees only area that has the "employees only" sign on it.
