You can't really. What I do is fill in whatever I can and if I give up, I go to google, take a long strand of words I have together and put them in quotes so Google looks for that specific string of words in order.

Usually, I find the answer that way.

Got the first word on a guess when I saw that it was a person's name, then took a little bit to remember the second word. I got voyage and explorer, so I knew in general who he was, but I couldn't get John Calvin out of my head.

I didn't actually know that he was Italian, though. I always just kind of assumed he was English since he was voyaging under the sponsor of the King of England.
