Should be quicker for those who pay more attention and do more browsing before diving in.

I was kind of shocked it wasn't Atlantic. I think this is what's going to prevent any way someone would possibly nail it on a two-shot.... but for sure still simple. A good one for newbies to jump in on.

Also, I never knew it was called the "Southern Ocean".

I thought it was going to be something like "Party" or "Union" or "River". Everything else from that point was a hit.

I felt kind of clever on my way to the first two words but then just kind of guessed for the last one without much to go on. Ended up at 31. Pretty good!

Was reverse for me. Got the last two. Had to think on what the first word coulda been based on the last two words.

Shocked we both got the middle. I feel like the middle would be the gotcha-one here. Maybe not.

I got it from Celts had no writing. So early on I was thinking a country, but that was nothing so I tried empire. That got me to Roman, then I kind of recognized the bit about sources being from others nearby. I also went ahead and guess "their," so I knew I was looking for a 5-letter plural of a people covered by Roman historians.

Yeah, for me, I just know too many of these articles are about religion, so I hit on that not super super early, but when I was blanking out on whatever to do next.

By that time, I already had that it was generally in the UK region since no real hits other areas.... so I was like "6 letters? Maybe Celtic"......

Then it was just about finding the first word from there for me.

Figured out he had an Arabic name really early on because of the occurrence of the prefix al-. Then I basically just started naming Middle Eastern countries, got Israel and Palestine, and went from there.

I also accidentally skipped yesterday's puzzle, as it turns out. Oops.

I always like seeing those big words that can be prepositions out in plain text, lile today's "opposite." It also turned out that was my way to the answer, once I got the three-letter word it can go before with a hyphen and saw that word in the first paragraph. 27 guesses in the end

I solved today's Redactle (#132) in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.00%

Noooooo. Lol.

I figured out from letter count that I likely had an eight letter, landlocked country in Northern or Southern Africa, and it didn't appear to be Eswatini.

I had two choices. If I had paid more attention I probably could have noticed the bit about Zimbabwe being to the northeast. First guess was Zimbabwe.

Then I forgot about ever thinking in the right field and ended up coming the long way around in 49 guesses. I mean, I did decide what parts to follow up on, it's not like I blame bad luck or anything, and it's also still a pretty good result anyway.
