I.e., if you were to buy one of every number combination, you'd end up making money as long as you didn't split the winnings with someone else Anyway, I usually just imagine a version of me in a parallel universe got the winning number. And even more commonly, I imagine that without buying a ticket myself --- You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50.
