I can't believe people choose to have a worse time with the lack of control given over YouTube shorts. YouTube has one of the best U.I. in terms of playing a video, fast-forwarding, or selecting the exact spot you want the video to play, and Shorts just gets rid of it. I will say, I found an excellent extension that completely removes YT Shorts on desktop if anyone is interested.
