I know how some ya'll process this content on the ride and completely overlook where the journey ends and the bigger message. Try not to, please.

It's cool if rap isn't your genre. It can be overwhelming when you're not use to certain music. Metal is that for me.

The white guy is voicing the side that thinks All Lives Matter includes black people and Trapp Tarell is trying to make him understand why it's not about black people being better than white people, it's about black people needing everyone to pay attention to what's happening to them right now so we can fix it and get past it.

But the white dude isn't purposely being ignorant and he starts to understand at the end after Trapp Tarell shows him the harsh reality of their world.

I wish all the ALM people I know in real life were like this. Almost all of them double or triple down when shown evidence of racism against black people.

Yeah, that's my biggest criticism of this. The type of white guy depicted in the video isn't really the issue. All Lives Matter doesn't mean what it says, its intended to downplay the issues that black people face.

Yeah just listened to it, there's no way this is better than I'm Not Racist. Like if you wanna argue you like the message better that's fine, but in terms of quality JL is way better.

That's fair. A lot of my music is about being sonically pleasing. And I can see how Im not a Racist is more sonically pleasing. I just like the message in this song better and it wins me over. The majority of my music also is the exact opposite of politically correct lol. So, it's definitely not a big deal when the message is a little muddied.

1 day old. You probably are thinking Im Not A Racist by Joyner Lucas. That songs not as good imo. This is much more direct and the message is way better communicated.

Especially since Joyner Lucas's song is called that while the guy is clearly racist. So, it seems like Joyner is just letting racist dudes off the hook for doing bare minimum.

I don't think I'd agree with that assessment, the white guy is clearly framed as being in the wrong. It does downplay how racist ALM supporters tend to be.
