It would be amazing if she has something like a 1 or 2 second passive AoE hydro apply with significant hydro damage on top of it.
But I expect her to be wasting the reaction if she gets the forward vape instead

I don't think we're ever going to see anything like Childe + Xiangling again. Neither one of them have internal cooldowns, which if you really think about it is broken as shit if you have a character who can apply his element as quickly (and in an aoe, no less) as Childe.

C6 Kazuha and Heizou are kept in check because Swirl isn't a multiplicative damage reaction.

It's actually kind of amazing how well he's aged even compared to newer banner characters.

Damn, these bosses on Dire Straights difficulty are bulky as shit. I did the Raiden/Eula burst swap (since the bonus is Ult damage) and still only had like 20 seconds left.

It definitely feels like Abyss F12

Really? I guess I might as well get off my ass and do floor 12. But I vastly prefer overworld and all the possible quirks to "featureless room".

Heizou is the bomb, btw. Can't wait for them to do a five-star character like him. As long as it isn't a loli, I will throw all the primos at it.

F12 isn't that hard, you just need to pass the dps requirements.
Chars like Yelan and Ayaka can turn F12 into a joke once geared and grouped right

lol I have neither of those characters.

But I'm reasonably certain that I have the pieces to do floor 12. It's less a matter of "can i do it" and more a matter of "I hate this gameplay so much that I refuse to do it".

First half primarily wants pyro application.
Second half single target nuking.

Naturally, the faster you wreck one half, the more you'll have for the other.

Even if you don't 36* it, feel free to rush a bit and leave it at 33* or something to get partial rewards and avoid frustration. It's definitely not as cancerous as some earlier phases anymore

For that, I can run a couple different pyro parties, namely:
Yoimiya, Yun Jin, Diona, Raiden
Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Diona, flex

For single target nuking, I also have Eula and Ganyu.

The problem isn't assembling a party. The problem is with me. I really despise the whole concept of sticking us in featureless rooms with a timer and modifiers that blatantly encourage you to pull for and use specific characters. I would imagine that Mihoyo keeps track of play rates and monitors how many players are actually doing Abyss, and I'd just as soon forego the primos and send the message that I won't play it.

It's a feeble gesture, I know. But it's a gesture nonetheless. I will note, however, that I got screwed more than once out of a star playing on PS4 because I'd hit Start and lose between 5-10 seconds off the clock because the enemies wouldn't spawn. >_>

So I've tried a whole bunch of different pyro parties for today's event, and honestly I don't think there's anything in the entire game that even comes close to Childe International. It's basically on a different level.

On a separate note, would it be too much to ask that Mihoyo give us XP for monster kills in domains? I mean, they're already stingy as fuck with monster kill XP as it is, would it really kill them if we saved one Hero's Wit over the course of a month?

Nah, they have to make sure the players' experience is as miserable as ever. Especially resin related stuff.

They didn't even bother putting common drops to domain enemies. That, Mora, and EXP is too good in their eyes, I guess.

Don't even care about the drops. There's no excuse for no XP.

XP is basically negligible.

It's 8.4 Million XP from Lv 1 to 90

An enemy gives an average of 15 XP

You'd have to kill 560,000 enemies

And 50-80k per level after Lv 80

it works! Performance may have taken a minor hit, though that may just be my imagination since there's no logical reason for it. plus I'm sure tweaking the settings will make a difference

bought the Blessings of the Moon bonus and turned the 300 crystals directly into Primogems

I've killed enough enemies to level Ganyu from 80 to 84 already. As I'd previously mentioned, they're stingy enough with kill XP as it is without taking the meager XP away in domains. (For the record, only scrub hilichurls give 15 XP lol).

Just tossed today's primos into the weapon banner, nowhere near close to pity, washed as the star turn yellow, lost my mind when the silhouette of a sword, and had my soul crushed when I realized it was a Skyward Blade (my Bennett already has one)

I don't mean the daily reset. you can't grind that.
But domains? You could challenge, ignore tree, restart, repeat until all mats to upgrade your char are collected.
So whenever there is a way to respawn mobs immediately, Mihoyo removes all drops.

That's restricted by resin and working as intended.
All of this is designed to force the player to pay for resin refill.

They can just make it so you have to rejuvenate the tree to get the drop/EXP rewards, so the reward comes with the resin and not by drop to prevent 'ignore tree'.

....well, that's not droppable item, but still.

Yep. And the necessity here is making players starve for materials (= selling resin refill, selling BP hymn).

Apparently Nilou C6 is Tartaglia.
Burst causes splash damage when she attacks enemies (riptide?), she can permanently keep hydro infusion, she can permanently keep the hydro field active.

At C0, she only gets 4 hits from her skill infusion, which can be normal attacks or skill hits. If 4th hit is skill it spawns the hydro field. The hydro field does not deal damage, but causes an unknown effect. It says "hanging water", so does that mean...she has the rain effect (permanent hydro)?

Her passive causes bloom to rupture immediately (= Nilou locks up burgeon/hyperbloom) and have higher multipliers.

The 5 star catalyst is great for DPS, and the sword is amazing for sword EM users (right now that's basically just Kazuha but there may be more after 3.0).

So if you need a DPS weapon for catalysts this banner is win/win.

The problem with 5* catalysts is that the widsth is apparently better than all of them. Especially at R5 lol.

I wouldnt know. I started my main account two weeks after launch and still havent pulled a single Widsith. I have to make do with the mediocre cats theyve given us in events.

Kazuha / Yelan (Xinqiu would work just as well) / Xiangling / C6 Bennett

C6 Bennett and Kazuha are just so damn good it's kind of ridiculous so few people know about it. Kazuha can amplify his own pyro damage.
