I pretty much did nothing in high school.

I wasn't popular, but got few close friends, goofed around, do stuff and shit

Didn't enjoy it. Was very stressed, had bad acne, and I discovered the last week of senior year that everyone I sat with at lunch "let" me sit with them because they knew I had no friends.

i never took it seriously, which i do regret.

I hated it but I made some good lifelong friends. At the very least I expressed myself a lot so that was healthy to actually be more me

I went to a Catholic school and revved my motorcycle in the parking lot after school to pick up chicks looking to disappoint their daddy. I didn't have to develop a personality of any kind until much later in life.

That's a fun way to spend your high school. Actually, I spent most of my high school life playing video games even though I had a normal high school life like the others but not in all aspects to be honest. I did well in school, but I was a video game addict at the same time.

Being the respected loner

I played lacrosse, golf, and football. Unfortunately I spent way too much of it getting high. Those times were good with my friends but it really fucked me for the future. I didnt care about what my plan was for college and half assed it with a dumb degree taking on way too much debt. Otherwise it was pretty normal I think.

I went to a private military school with about 3-4 times as many dudes as girls. Got passable but not great grades. Didn't care for the jrotc stuff, so I was happy to get to mostly sit that stuff out my sophomore year cause my company commander didn't like how little effort I put into it. Somehow wound up a squad leader my senior year despite not having the qualifications for it. That didn't really mean much, I was just first in line when we did the homecoming and graduation parades and during drill practice.

Had a crush on my class's valedictorian for most of my time there. I did ask her to prom my senior year, but she turned me down. I was still a virgin when I graduated.

Anyway, I mostly spent time hanging out with friends, playing videogames, playing D&D, reading, watching anime and surfing the web.

High school was good times. Dad was bringing in a shit ton of money, we were living on waterfront property, and I had a fantastic group of friends. Sometimes I wish my friends and I hadn't all moved away from St. Pete. Oh well.

Sadly it was my social prime. I got physically ill and detached shortly after.

But god damn did I have it all with low effort well it lasted. Good family life. Good party life. Girls hit me up just from me being me around them. Gaming and music kept me entertained on weekdays.

But the low effort caught up to me when it was time to actually hold onto it. Plus I started getting all these weird intense symptoms that killed my confidence. Pretty much just retreated into myself. Then shit got depressing.

But as a high schooler, I was still privileged enough to be so dumb that I still thought depression was something people said they had for attention. I knew about struggle and stuff. But I didn't know the extent that it fucked with people's heads. Basically, like a lot of our dad's probably still think now.

Silently, as a social pariah. School was hell.

Went to one of my friends house in the neighborhood to play basketball after school almost everyday. Or some football or tennis or sports video game or whatever else we were feeling to play.

My friends were my cousins and their friends. I kept to myself mostly. I had 2 or 3 good friends and eveybody else were friends of friends.

I was the guy in high school who didnt eat food for the day. My cousins took me in and made sure i had something to eat in school.

Parents separated and it divided our families.

Wasted opportunity. I wasn't popular but I wasn't picked on all that much. I had some friends and did stuff like movies and hanging out with them, but I never dated. Looking back, I had so many opportunities to date and I was too stupid to realize. I also should have played sports or an instrument or something.

I went to three schools cause we moved junior year.
The first school was a private catholic school where I made some good friends, briefly became the most popular guy in our grade, and got in a ton of trouble due to a combination of bad timing, and me being a moron. After sophomore year they made it clear that I would not be invited back.
The second school was the local public school which would have allowed me to renew friendships from elementary school if I hadn't become really paranoid (plus I knew I wasn't going to be there for long since we were moving).
The third, and final school was fine. I made a few friends just by being the new guy with the funny accent (it was in Rhode Island, and I'm from Virginia originally).

I wasn't popular but I got along with everyone and got good grades. I always had fun in class and outside school. I wish I did more with girls to get more dating experience back then tho. I only dated 1 chick but she was kind of a bitch and we didn't do anything anyway. There was like 4 other chicks that wanted to date me, but I was too dense to catch the signs until later in life lol (one of them had huge tits too and I had a crush on her >_>).

Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience of my life looking back

Varsity athlete all 4 years, well known, close group of friends, had girlfriends, worked part-time, super laid-back parents, partied all the time without getting into any serious trouble. All-in-all HS was pretty awesome, other than the actual going to school part

High school was terrible for me. I lacked confidence and started smoking weed and drinking casually. My parents made a huge deal of it and I was grounded pretty much my entire senior year. They told me they would be responsible since I wasnt 18. That wasnt even true. I spent the whole year grounded based off a lie. We had a pretty bad relationship after that for a while.

It was truly terrible. I had some good friends but everything else was bad.

High school was great, had multiple circles of friends in and out of school. I look back on it fondly

2 months into freshman year, myself and 2 others were founding members of what would grow to be our huge main social circle

We came from middle schools that weren't the main middle school that fed students into our high school so we didn't have the luxury of knowing a lot of people by default

I was the metalhead, one friend was the athlete, and the other friend was the goofy class clown. We all loved video games.

We picked a table on campus and that was our table for all 4 years, no one else sat there but our circle

We had people rotate in and out with archetypes like the PC gamer nerd, the self described token black guy, the wannabe gangster, the aspiring pro skater, the gym rat, the future engineer taking courses at college, the anime lover, etc

By junior year, our respective archetypes netted us serious girlfriends at school so group table attendance wasn't as consistent as it was in freshman and sophomore year for the rest of high school but damn sure we still got into trouble together

Myself and the other 2 original members always had this joke that high school was an RPG and we didn't start using skill points until 1 year in as we started to focus on our "respective builds"

i.e. I grew my hair out and fully committed to the metalhead look, my friend started joining school sports teams, and my other friend started smoking pot

I mostly tried coping with feeling of loneliness, emptiness, and despair.

Skipping class, skateboarding, getting stoned, going to bush parties, hanging with my girlfriend and getting her pregnant, getting expelled etc.

I was the weird loner that not even the other kids at the bottom of the social pecking order liked.

Sports. Parties on the weekends. Would go out most school nights junior and senior year to chill with friends. Had 4 or 5 girlfriends. Everything except the classes were pretty great.

Sleeping. Couldn't figure out why I was always tired, but that lasted until a couple years ago when I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I fixed the issue with a sleep apnea machine and for the most part everything is fine now, I still have memory loss though. I somehow passed with no failures.

That's how. I was chronically online and introverted in high school. I didn't drink, do drugs, or party. Just stayed in my room and played video games/read books/watched anime. You wouldn't believe how resentful my father (who had been a charismatic party animal in his youth) was of my lifestyle. Joke's on him though; I have a job working from home and he lives in an un-air-conditioned trailer on his friend's land.

Marching band. I hated homework so my grades werent great. I liked to read but not the assigned books.

I was a ol' nerd in highscool and hung out with the fellow nerds, lol. (Which was completely different from both my dad and brother. Both of them loved sports and was all about basketball. My dad regularly played in the YMCA with the other older peeps every wednesday, thursday and sunday while my brother played both highscool basketball and ran track. I am the nerd of the family, lol).

Middle school was godawful, but highschool was a pretty chill experience. I had two fellow nerds who I regularly hung out with, and we pretty much just talked out the popular video games of the time and wrestling (all three of us was huge wrestling fans). My highschool years was 1998 to 2001, so it was just constant wwf attitude and wcw conversations. Also pokemon...I used to just chill in study hall, bust out the gameboy color and play pokemon gold most of the time.

My grades was pretty much Cs since I was sick a lot when I was younger and it wasn't uncommon that I would miss a week or two if it was bad at a time. I used to keep up since I had a teacher swing by to help with certain homework and whatnot.

I didn't go. The start of 9th grade I was at home with my broken ankle watching 9/11 live. I talked my Dad to let me "home school", in which I did nothing but travel ,smoke and play games.

Got my GED I Hawaii before joining the Army.

Coasted by doing the bare minimum to pass my classes, kept mostly to myself, masturbated a lot, played World of Warcraft

Not great. Kind of coasted along not doing much before I dropped out junior year after panic attack.

I wasn't educated for about 5 years before that (not even homeschooled), and it was a combination of social anxiety and never being able to comprehend any math beyond order of operations

Did some extra curriculars but when I wasn't involved in those I played guitar hero and CoD in my basement.
