Ahh good times. Young and dumb. I really enjoyed my class. Our 10 year reunion was last week.

Weird time in my life.

Played Junior B hockey and worked a part time job so despite having a lot of hockey and work friendships, I had fairly few friends in HS.

When I was at school I was mainly a smoke pit scum kid. Didn't even smoke cigarettes and barely smoked weed, just spent a disproportionate amount of time at pit talking mad ish and fucking around.

Between sports, work, and douchebaggery my marks were never very good.

Did a hell of a lot better in college then I did in HS socially.

I was a low income kid (one of the ones who got their lunches and books free) but I was also a high honors student. This did not earn me many friends. Alot of the other students didn't like seeing a dirt poor kid breezing through classes with little effort while they struggled. I was constantly ragged on for being dirty (which I wasn't). This one girl and her friends made it a mission to put me down daily, it was rough. I know they say kids are kids and forgive and forget but screw that, I hope her adult life is all sorts of fucked up. She put me through 4 years of hell, I still have issues being social around others.

Like I said though I was probably one of the best low effort students. I only did what was required, and only if I could find time to do it at school. Home time was for TV and games. I was also the captain of the school academic bowl team all 4 years, and have tons of plaques and medals from my success there, it was easily my favorite part of high school.

I only finished senior high school in 2019 but we haven't had a reunion even back then, we haven't had a reunion in jhs even after I graduated back in 2017.

Hell, my class graduated in 03' and there hasn't been any talks of any form of class reunion.

I graduated in 2016. I spent most of high school being my myself. I was in Track & Field and I was a part of Junior Cabinet, Senior Cabinet, and the National Honor Society.

I did not know this at the time but apparently, a lot of girls at my high school found me attractive. Too late to do anything about it now.
