Cause you have such limited inventory space and ya gotta keep going back to the room and then you deal with the invincible ghosts and the freaking escort mission... There is no easy way at all to play that game.

The first OMD was what got me hooked on Steam gaming, so was super excited when OMD3 came out. Now I have some cool (pun intended) DLC to go with it! These two packs nearly double the amount of maps in the game too. Thanks so much!

I never tried the co-op in OMD 2, but as a solo game, it's a very fun experience. There are a lot of larger maps that would definitely benefit having a second player to cover additional choke points, so in that regard it might be slightly easier, but it is balanced enough where it can be done by ones self.

I've only ever played solo, and I love it. They do get pretty difficult later on and i had to look up some strategies for later levels, but they're very addictive. There's tons of unlockables and entertaining ways to handle each map.

I'm a big fan, id recommend 3 as the best one as it's the most modern, but if you're on the fence the early ones are cheaper. The main gameplay loop is basically the same for all, so if you've played any of them, you know how they all function.

I love them. I got part 1 free with xbox live gold last year and am now a huge fan.

Coop is probably a great time too. I imagine having someone else help watch some areas instead of running around alone would be very, very helpful

Posting for a second time in here. Again, my top priority picks are AI: The Somnium Files, Repetnance/Afterbirth+ For Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, or Castlevania Anniversary Collection. But if people want to give me something more expensive but I know are unlikely purchases then Cyberpunk 2077 or Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne would be nice. Throwing those out there as unlikely as either can be.

But I am fine with any other game on my wishlist and am open minded.

I will get around to it. I saw a friend stream it and it looks like it scratches the classic era Final Fantasy vibe if that interests you. They sold me on it, which is why I had it wishlisted for a bit. Now I can try it for myself.

If you want to do them all, release order. Basically the games get QoL/changes that make going backwards more and more awkward and wherever you start can be viewed as the "earliest" game that you'll go with.

I would go with Ys 1&2 Chronicles, Ys Origin, Ys: The Oath in Felgana, Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Ys SEVEN, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox.

I don't know if that's the best order but it does divide them by gameplay styles.
