That's awesome, this place is about 30 minutes away, I get free ticket offers constantly but I generally am working and gotta pass. One time that comedian Sinbad was there and he stayed at the place I was working at, he hung out at the lobby for an hour after he got back and just talked to people, signed autographs, dude was super cool.

Back in my day I saw Styx for $10 at a street fest. Got right up to the stage and saw that cock sucker spinning those keyboards around like he does. I was piss drunk loaded too and still remember it.

My all time most memorable show has to be panteras last ever north American show. I was such a huge Pantera fan back in the day and it was amazing.

Also first show in like 15 years slayer wasn't the main. Also rexs bday and slayer and Pantera did some random medley jam style shit.

Also Charles Bradley. I didn't even know hom before I saw him but that guy was incredible. And so fucking grateful to be there. He was more appreciative than the crowd ffs.

Not a huge fan of Korn but I saw them with 10 Years and Mudvayne both of whom I liked at the time I love 10 years to this day but my ex god TRAMPLED and smashed into a guard rail before Korn. I didn't know it because we were fuckin pissed at each other so she went up to the front and I told her not to but she always does what she does and paid for it. Then I paid for it because I had to watch some 6'5 fat fuck get body slammed on the flood boards of the hockey rink arena (yeah it was a hockey arena in El Paso) and the floor shook. Then I was pissed off because I thought she just took off on me so I was lookin around the arena and actually kicked over one of Korns road cases on the way to the arena office.

They put on a good show and didn't deserve that I guess but they shouldn't have left it there I should have stolen it.

I had a buddy who got fucking laid out in the pit at a blink 182 concert of all things. The dude who did it was loke 6'8" 320lbs and 90s goth as fuck.

16 year old me wanted to do something but like... kinda really couldn't.

Also bad religion was there and they were amazing and Fenix tx were there and I've seen them by accident a few times and they were hilarious.

Blink was the main and by far the shittiest band.

I love punk but I agree on pop punk for the most part. Except bad religion locks ass and so do millencolin and tons of others.

All the biggest ones like blink or fuckin good Charlotte or whayever can suck a dick.

I have very little to add to the topic. The 5 bands/people I've seen in concert are:
Linkin Park and their crew at the time of Punk/Pop/Rock
KISS Twice
John Fogerty
Vince Neil

Fogerty sounds alright, but his voice definitely has hit a rough patch, Vince Neil just wasn't worth it. His voice is shattered beyond repair. KISS despite 2 of their members being assholes, lived up to their concert reputation. 2 of the best concerts I could ever hope to see. They played a 2 hour set outdoors, and then left before it started to come down with freezing rain. And then they came back and said Fuck it, we aren't going out like that, and played for another hour in the freezing rain, ending with "I want to Rock and Roll All Nite".

Meanwhile, I do have an Eagles story. I never went to see the Eagles, but it from word of mouth apparently it was one of the worst experiences a local festival has ever had.

Its a very interesting read. To summarize, They thought they were going to play Windsor, Ontario; and it turned out to be Grand Falls-Winsor, Newfoundland as a festival headliner. That festival had a radio contest and the winners were supposed to get pictures and autographs from them, but that turned into a "don't look at us, don't touch us, face the camera, and walk away". They also played far less songs than they were contracted to, and outside of 1 member all of them acted like assholes to everyone.

Typically all the bands are in 1 big area with trailers. The Eagles were the only band that I know of that requested their own private area where no one could get access. Which is fine, but at the same time, all of the press that were scheduled to take interviews and photos were turned away.

Couple things. Everyone has a Denny's right? I ordered food from this place called The Meltdown earlier and I always thought "Well fuck I dunno where they are I've never seen em". Turns out these assholes are Denny's. Why call it somethin different? I was smart and ordered breakfast for dinner so I got a nice bacon and egg cheese sandwich which I took a bite out of and it's fuckin good af so i'm not complainin.

Also I saw Journey is comin to town at the end of the month. I looked up tickets and all that's left is nose bleed seats. $60 a ticket. Fuckin crazy cock suckin fuckin prices. Are they all still the same band or did any of them die?

I was very confused because when I was invited, I was just told "denny's" so I assumed it was the chain restaurant. It was not.

Was fucking delicious though. I had an omelet and home fries and toast. My nephew had a meltdown and caused a scene, but that was completely normal for him in any public place at the time.

I've never been one to go to many concerts but I have a pretty random list of ones I have been to

Reel Big Fish (played live at some spring break party week at a buddy's college)
Vanilla Ice (same, 1 year later. He was apparently arrested for attacking a student that jumped up onto the stage. I was too far back to see what was really happening but security/cops swarmed in)
Disturbed

One of the openers for Disturbed was pretty well known too but I was drunk as fuck and can't remember who it was. I just remember they were patting people down for "contraband" going into the arena (they had "NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED" signs everywhere because it was a college campus)

I had a pint of whiskey taped to my ankle under my sock. The dude patting me down felt it and paused and gave me a "really, bruh?" look and then let me in anyway without doing anything. I ended up losing the cap once I got close to the stage late in the show so I stuck my thumb into the bottle to prevent spilling when I was jumping around and people were slamming into me.

funny story, a girl I worked with a few years later was there too, as I found out later, and she was much more of a fan than I was and she claimed to have gotten even closer to the stage and then had a convulsive mental orgasm and just passed out in the middle of a mosh pit and people around her thought she was having a seizure. In my head I was like "damn I wish I knew you back then >_>" but she had a long term boyfriend who I also worked with (they were hired together) and he was present for the conversation so I didn't say anything.

I'd juussst about trade my list in for yours except I really loved Boston and Styx. Those two bands played like it was an album.

The Sabbath concert was I think 00 or 02, where it was fuckin Ozzy + Iommi + Geezer + somehow also Ward.
They did about half of the first album, and all of Paranoid, then shit nobody cares about.

Actually civil wars put on a good show. Barton hollow is still awesome.

Metric was cool even. Emily is so fucking cute still and she's probly 50 or close. Would wife.
