well?

A common feature at larger restaurants here, though smaller places (I'm tempted to call them "indie" lol) usually don't have it

Yes, if I see something good with a really low calorie count it probably means the serving size is puny so my fatass doesn't order it.

Thank you calorie counts!

I don't really eat at restaurants unless it's a very special occasion, in which case I'm not going to care all that much about calories.

Yeah. Depends on how I've been eating recently.
A lot of the time I haven't been eating much so I'll look for a thing with a lot of Calories for the price/flavor.

I've never once paid any attention at all to how many calories are in anything I eat or drink.

I don't even know what's considered high or low in terms of calorie count.

got some answer variety here huh

personally I don't usually pay attention to calorie counts of anything, restaurant or not. but if I'm out somewhere to eat and I'm feeling extra hungry for whatever reason, like if I sipped breakfast or something, I'll aim for something with a higher calorie count under the assumption that it's probably more food. which feels like not the intended way to use that menu information

Yes. It's been eye opening, as I never really cared about calorie counts before. But now that I'm losing weight, I look at the menus in shock. I went to dinner a few weeks ago and some of the menu items had over 2,000 calories when you count the soda. That one meal would put me over my daily calorie limit lol.

Carb counts are helpful for figuring out how much insulin to take with the meal. Idc about calories though.

Same. When I started my weight loss journey last year, calorie counting (along with exercise) was my biggest driving factor. Seeing calorie counts have definitely affected my meal choices. Now that I've completed my weight loss, I'll still be mindful of it but still use it to make better choices as well.
Of course, I gotta treat myself occasionally.

I will say though I basically never see nutritional information other than calorie count listed anywhere. I suspect you coulld probably ask about it if you really had to?

Theres usually a QR code to scan somewhere that will give you the full breakdown.
