I dont know, it feels a lot like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football. Dems messaging has been to vote blue so stuff like today doesnt happen. Sure, McConnell packed the SCOTUS, but weve had control of the White House, HoR, and the Senate for 18 months and somehow the Republicans are achieving their policy goals with little resistance. If we put the same Dems in power again, why should I believe itll be any different?

This is obviously holding me back a bit, but I dont really know what to do. If you hire a plumber to fix your tub and a week goes by, the plumber does no work, and then states at least your sinks not broken too, do you hire that plumber again?

Ill still vote for any new Democrats on the ballot, but I dont know how I can bring myself to vote for someone whos done fucking nothing for two years.

Also that gun control bill is basically nothing. Leaves a lot of the decisions up to the states, and doesnt include universal background checks.

Only a complete moron would keep voting for the same useless idiots who want to keep the status quo and not improve things. Anyone voting for Democrats instead of actual progressives is the problem, and your votes are directly leading to the results we've been seeing.
