He may have hated the pick at the time, but he was going off when KP wanted out, and was even more mad that he was gone when they lost out on Durant, since Durant was the one who gave KP his nickname, which SAS thought would have improved the chances of KD ending up a Knick. (KP still being there, not the nickname itself lol)
