If there were infinite universes then there would be infinite versions of everyone and their value would be meaningless if you could travel between those universes.

Any suffering you did now would still be the same amount of suffering regardless of how many of you there are, though. You can be replaced, but you are still the only instance of your perspective, isolated and alone. Unless you figure a way to link yourself with all of yourself, becoming a hivemind. Then yeah, you'd just be losing a body and irrelevant processing power.

There's also a universe where everyone wants to die so I can grant that to them, no suffering :)

You say that like its a hypothetical.

There's a concept in classical statistical physics called Poincare's Theorum.

Think of the universe as an analog TV that is turned to nothing but TV snow (random static). The smallest physical measure would be a pixel. The smallest measure of time would be how long the pattern of snow on the monitor would change. The only thing guiding this is the rules of how a TV works (the chord has to be plugged in, nothing can be broadcast on it, etc.)

Poincare's Theorum would state that if you wait long enough, the randomly TV snow would change in a period of time in such a way that every TV show ever made would be broadcast. Now apply this to the universe.

The TV snow is vacuum energy and the constant crackling quantum foam of virtual particles, some of which become real particles. The universe is finite like the TV screen, but it will possibly have an infinite future. That means given enough time, every configuration of the universe will be realized and in every order possible that the law of physics will allow.

It is absolutely inevitable that not only will every version of the universe eventually exist, it will also repeat an infinite number of times. The only thing limiting it is if the law of physics allow it.

BTW the number of states possible in the observable universe if expansion was temporarily frozen has been calculated to approximately:
logBASE2 (e)10^123 bits.

On the one hand in any infinite system, every possibility has to happen at least once. Movies on the other hand have a lot of breaks in physics and intelligent behavior, so it might be more wishful thinking to think there's some alternate universe with super speedsters, mutants, witches, or that kind of thing.

Any universe would still be beholden to the laws of physics. So witches or superheroes are pretty much out of the question.

There's a flaw.

The existence of some universes naturally makes the existence of others, but not all, impossible.

It must be a closed system with maximum entropy. If another system acts on it, it would introduce work to the system which would lower entropy and start everything back to square one. Thermal equilibrium is needed for Poincare's Theorum.

Our universe is a closed system because we have a cosmological horizon due to our universe expanding faster than the speed of lighjt. Anything outside the horizon cannot interact with anything inside it. Eventually, our universe will suffer heat death according to our current models where the universe is in thermal equilibrium. And it would continue on forever unless something interrupts it like vaccuum collapse.

Cosmologists noticed that our theorized future universe would resemble the type of environment that Poincare's Theorum might occur.

There's a short story called The Other Tiger by Arthur C. Clarke. It showcases the idea that even in an infinite number of parallel universes, only the improbable will inevitably happen. The impossible never will.

So you're kinda outta luck there.

There is a universe where the world is exactly the same except for 1 difference. Disney bought DC Comics instead of Marvel. The DC Cinematic Universe is a huge success and the MCU is a complete failure

Every improbable event doesn't have to happen on an infinite timeline.

So, technically, some events are physically possible.... But they just never actually occur, making them semi-impossible.

X configurations are logical, but they never occur. Reality is Y configurations

Z configurations are physically impossible and defy the logic of the universe's fundamental laws
