Apone in Aliens is another example. Him chewing on that cigar was gross, sure, but it was part of his character and I liked it.

That I never liked. A few years back I dated a smoker. I used to take some puffs off her cigarette so she didn't taste like an ashtray.

And now it's gone and society is better off for it

But to me it still seems kinda sad. Even if it was a bad thing, it was so engraved in our culture from art, to film to TV to everything, even life, until now, when it'sso noticeably not.

I mean you'll still have period pieces where smoking will still be on screen. It just won't be as often as it used to be.

The only place it bothered me was in restaurants.

Cigs at least make people look cool. Those Juul things look stupid as fuck

Better overall for it to be gone though

If anything that's something that makes them look bad.

The classy smoker or sad smoker or more what I miss the most I think. The classy gentleman tupe who will put it out if you mention it and tried to be nice or the sad(typically girl) who's smoking depressive because they don't know better. Plus there's always the guy who has so much money or power, he doesn't need to worry. But maybe he does, or quit. And he just wants one last smoke before he dies or something

It was all personal to me in some way, and that's not likely anymore.

I dunno, this topic probably isn't that logical to start with.

It's not, but I do understand what you mean
