Personally I don't mind the "collect 1000 BS" missions, or the beat everyone at such and such mini game, or the others.

HOWEVER the one I hate the most are damn fetch missions. The worst IMO being the ones in the Megaman Battle Network games. Some of those felt like 30 minutes of just going from point A to Point B and then back to Point A. I HATED those.

Forced grinding. And on the opposite end, story-based level caps.

I'll grind in games until I am max level happily. But if you force me to grind to progress or force me to not grind until I complete some story bits, I hate it.

Yeah, I don't mind if the game has enemies that are leveled to destroy me if I go there early. But don't lock that area with a level requirement to get in.

Forced multiplayer for bonuses or story content.

Needing to playthrough the game multiple times with few content differences to experience certain story bits.

Grinding sucks, but sometimes it can just be mindless fun as well. Depends on the game. Pokemon, you just go in battle and kill, nice and easy. Fate/Grand Order, loads of grind to earn rare materials to power up your characters. Did a battle more than 40 times to get a drop, get 6 total. One of those times dropped 3. Any of those battles could give me multiples. But no.

I need like 50 - 100 of the things, multiple characters want them. -_-
