I bet they dont make much tho. I always people go in those stores but leave empty handed

the internet ruined these stores imo

used to have so much fun browsing these places in high school, now they just base their prices off eBay averages and you never get any cool deals or exciting finds

Yeah thats what I think too. Every price is eBay price. I managed to snag a lot of retro games I wanted a couple years ago.

i do see theres a couple stores that have been popping up tho. A lot of use Magic as money I assume too. I see they have tables set up

I always suspected those kinds of stores were fronts for something else. I used to go to a retro toy store that was in an old house back in the day. Never saw a single shopper in there and the dude who owned it lived somewhere else

Why not make an anime about it instead?

pawn shops i gotten lucky from though only bought fallout 3 ultimate edition for 5$.
they had other games but unfortunately ones i owned for the ps3 system.

I think its generally more that theyre labors of love, at least in my area

the owner probably makes just enough to get by but loves what they do

Pretty much every retro games shop I've been to recently has had a Warhammer figurines section at the back. That's where the real money is. They probably make more just by selling the tiny pots of paint than they do selling games.
