How the hell did they just drop the perfect character as a DLC character and then never managed to top it since

He also has a completely unique playstyle at low levels if you can get 7/5 in Blood Bath with a COM. That gives enemies a 100% chance to drop a grenade when killed appropriately. IIRC he benefits from corrosive weapons on that build, since the 8 seconds of damage helps with stacks. If you need to kill something in a hurry you can swap to a Torgue shotgun at max stacks and deal quad damage.

This topic got me thinking, and if I had to make a tier list of most fun to least fun Borderlands playable characters, Krieg would be at the very bottom for me.

Aside from Anarchy stuff, Krieg is probably the best mob killer in TVHM.

Fastball Bloodsplosion Krieg is absolutely hysterical.

Hellfire Krieg is also fun.

Krieg is no doubt my favorite vault hunter. A good bloodsplosion build just unleashes hell all over everyone. Combine with a Rough Rider shield, mmm, godlike.

I'm still only level 28 so I figured the best way to go about this was to go with a melee build first, then go into the bloodsplosion tree, and then when I get really high level I completely respec into the hellborne tree.

I love the idea of the hellborn tree but seems silly to use at low levels.

Melee Krieg is extremely powerful in TVHM. Release the Beast is a ridiculously good skill from levels 30-50 where you can repeatedly abuse health gate to destroy everything with buzz axe rampage. It is extremely effective.

dont you take damage when youre on fire? And have to be up close and personal with all his builds?

All his builds are high risk, high reward. If you like sniping and turtling hes not your guy. You gotta play him more like doom guy.

bl2 is an amazing game got all the achievements and have played thru extensively with Axton and Zero.

For some reason I never played as Salvador as dual wielding is insane but if I play thru again I will. I think I started a low level char with him but its probably not past level 10

he's the best character in the series by far
