Two weeks of pure grind after I decided to finally get around to leveling my crafting jobs from nothing. I'm so sick of crafting lol

I've got all mine to 60 and I'm so bored with crafting

Farther than I got.

I get one craft to 90 so I can self meld and the rest to 80 so I can repair my stuff.

Letting my sub go for a month or so to take a break from 14 though. Im sure at some point Ill level all to 90 before the next xpac

Before a couple weeks ago I only had alchemist leveled up. On a whim I decided to just yolo it and do the rest at the same time and knock them out.

The grind sucks, but now i'm one with the bad part. Leveling the additional levels next expansion won't be that bad.

I've got all mine to 50 and that was a chore enough as it is. Maybe I'll get them to 60, but not sure I can be bothered doing even that just yet tbh.

Really the biggest issue was inventory space and selling all my crafted stuff. It wouldn't be so bad if you were doing one at a time for a small amount of levels, but when i'm grinding out a combined 600-700 levels across all the classes within a two week timespan things get tight.

Is why I primarily leveled through leves and collectables eventually, just to avoid the inventory bloat.

No real way around the inventory bloat if you're the sort that wants to make one of everything for log completion, though.

Why not just do levekits? That's what i've always done to 80...

Oh, on a sidenote if anyone is interested, Asmongold is making his return to FFXIV later today. He's going to be starting stormblood

I played a bit of the free trial and devoted quite a bit of time to crafting. It just blows WoW's professions outta the water.

I never did figure out how the fuck you're supposed to mine though.

GC turn ins make leveling crafting super easy.

He plays on the very first server I played on. When I came back I knew I wanted to start a new character so I just picked a new server to avoid having to deal with whatever comes from having him on the same server as me.

Not necessarily bad things but annoying things.

I got all my gatherers to Lv90, but crafting is much more annoying so I only have the carpenter at 90 so far.

Might go back and do the others at some point, but it's just too time consuming. (Though, not as time consuming as leveling combat classes.)

I've decided to level all my DoLs and DoHs to 90 as well, if nothing else for the melds and repairs. I'm not starting from scratch thankfully.

I recently leveled BLU to 70 after swearing not to touch it because of the limited job BS. I needed something else to do to tide me over until I get those remaining StB spells I'm missing.

I've been grinding out my beast quests. I might want to get a few more classes to 90 before I start seriously raiding again.

Already got two endwalker extreme trials out the way and looking to do the third and savage next.

Crafting is so expensive. And I was going the GC dailies for a while but the EXP seems low? I got two crafting jobs to 50 and all the gathering jobs but all it did was fill my armoury with crappy crafter gear :/

Ive got 3 mil Gil and that might get one job to 50

Crafting is only expensive if you're lazy and buy all the materials.

Start levelling the gatherers, not crafters.

Then gather and craft everything you need instead of buying it.

Just finished floor 100 in POTD. What's the fastest way to farm aetherpool grips there? I need another 20/10 for my kinna weapon

Another reason I preferred ESO. You could max level the professions without grinding

You don't have to grind in FFXIV if you don't mind waiting a bit longer using a number of other mechanics in the game.

The only reason I grinded them up was I wanted them all leveled up as quickly as possible.

Now you have to level desynthesis.
