We're cool with each other, no problems, but its not what it couldve been and we maybe say hi once or twice a month. Now he's retired and very soft/mushy, says I love you alot when we speak on the phone. Guess I should appreciate it. My dad created a lot of issues and fighting between the two households, he definitely held a grudge against my mom which affected my relationship with him a bit. We are still pretty close.
