The EBU has deemed that Ukraine will be unable to host the Contest because of the war. The security risk alone is too great.

So the UK will hold the show since they came 2nd.

Sad Ukraine won't get to hold it, but hopefully we do something to involve/honour them.

So if they actually held it there, do you think Russia would keep invading and possibly attack members of the show?

I would think they would pause the invasion out of fear of killing non Ukrainians and drawing more nations into the war

But that depends on if Putin is still thinking logically or not

Russia would likely attack anyway and it's unlikely other countries would do anything, since anyone there would be considered to have taken the risk by being there.

I'm very tempted to try and get tickets.

It is just something they have been doing for decades. I think it started in the 60s. It's part of their traditions
