Summer Illya in 12 rolls (+9 rolls last week).

Barring NP2 and maybe a Kiara, thats all my targets this summer.

Oof, current ranking in EoM has you fight two bosses at once and if you kill one the other will do a screenwide AoE.

I'm finished with the Nier gacha until global (hopefully) gets a rerun, which is highly probable. I just need three more resonance fodder to complete 2B's weapon but I'm in no hurry to do that. Other than that, I need to finish resonating and hypertuning memory sets for everybody.

To stop you cheesing it with tanks and healers from what I recall.

Note - you can still cheese it with tanks and healers.

The EX1 dungeon (Tideborne Tower) is when the developers got tired of people using healers to cheese boss mechanics rather than using multiple teams. So they started putting in hard enrages (aka party wipes), in order to force people to build more characters. EX1's boss enrages around 10s left on the clock IIRC, while EX2's enrages when there are 20s left.

You shouldn't worry too much about immediately clearing a dungeon after you unlock it, as generally the dungeon boss will be much higher level than you at that point. Most players will need to build up for a time before they can clear their newest dungeon boss. As long as you can clear all of the trash packs in the dungeon before the boss, you will be getting more coins and mana than fully clearing the previous dungeon.

Yeah, it's not like bunch of Lv 85 can do much against a towering (ha) Lv 120.

The RNG in what comps I could meet along the way is absurd, though. I could meet chickens in top floor but dinosaurs in bottom.

Not nearly as easily as before. EX1 can be solo'd by 5 star Miyako after you get it to 50% or so, but that's only because it's impossible to heal through the party wipe, and Miyako is the only character that is guaranteed to dodge it as long as you didn't cancel any of her ghost forms (auto works fine, but if you're manualling you need to be careful).

EX2 does have the 4 healers + 1 tank/Christina cheese strat, but it requires manual play to spam UBs fast enough during the enrage to survive, and I'm pretty certain it also requires NY!Yui.

Previous cheese strats were just set and forget on autobattle, with minimal input needed.

I was surprised when I saw it too. I also inadvertently lied earlier in the topic. I said The Old Fear should be the last event to have chessboard mode because I honestly don't remember End of the Maze having it.

Alice Fiction releases on 7/27, if puzzle style combat interests you. At the very least, it has full auto.

After uninstalling Artery Gear and Tenkafuma, I was down to two games (Princess Connect and Revue Starlight) on my phone, but then I had an urge to play a game that I had dropped in the past, so I re-installed D4DJ Groovy Mix. However, since the last time I played it several months ago, I upgraded my phone. My new phone definitely runs the game better, but the phone is also physically bigger than my previous one, so adjusting to playing the game with the bigger phone has been a bit of a struggle for me and my hands. Now I'm not sure if I want to keep trying to adjust to playing on my new phone or just uninstall it again.

So yeah. that's the latest update from me on the gacha game front. Not much else going on for me.

So I still play Azur Lane daily. I have a hard time keeping attention on any other games for a long time. Got nostalgic when I heard of FFRK closing, and Brave Frontier before that. Decided to re-download some older games.
FFBE is still going, and is still as buggy and full of power-creep as usual. Better QoL improvements are helpful though. It's going through it's 6th anniversary celebrations.
I also re-downloaded DBZ Dokkan again. It's going through it's 7th celebration. Still a very grindy game, but it's still fun assembling a team. I was also surprised to learn that at some point they added auto-map movement and auto-battle. That should make the grind a little easier.

I dropped Azur Lane because of the massive grind. The dailies are bad because Operation Siren takes a while, but I REALLY hate how the events work. You have to clear stages 3 times to unlock the next one, and you have to wipe out all the enemies one of those times.

Yeah, why I dropped Azur Lane as well. Too many grindy gachas and not enough time for them all.

G Gen Eternal is going to have 700 units on release (forgot if I mentioned this). That sounds like reroll hell.

That's a red flag for me. I hate when gachas have oversaturated unit pools, especially when there are a lot of high rarity units that are completely useless.

It's now 5 ads up from 3 but it doesn't seem to be 1000 per watch anymore. Seems like a random number that can be 1000 or more (or less)

In AS' current side story (which is airing in place of P5 not having one...), the excuse of Navi not being able to use Soroz this time is because a giant dark dragon is in mating season and sees Soroz as a mate. So Soroz is left on autopilot to run the fuck away to protect its chastity (it's a machine though...), while Navi is having to walk everywhere, accompanying a loli Hestia lookalike on a quest to hatch more dragons

It will have a mechanic called 'Development' where you can basically convert weaker units into stronger units, which is a staple of the G Gen series. It will obviously likely be as limited as SMT Dx2's fusion, compared to the banner only pool. But we'll see.

Yeah sadly the only story is the brief intro where they enter the world and interact with Navi and Luke, who looks like he's come out of P5 anyways. But I do recommend the current side story. It's quite sweet, and there's a girl with massive booba

There's an Octopath Traveler mobile game coming out in a couple of days and it looks interesting. It's apparently very similar to Another Eden in that it's mostly a standard JRPG game (no PvP, rankings, or limited events, just new story chapters added over time) that can be cleared just fine with the free characters you get throughout the story, but pulling the gacha gives you other options to use.
