What is "progressive right wing" and "conservative left wing"?

Progressive Right: generous immigration laws, pro-LGBT, pro-abortion but they wanna cut taxes even for the wealthiest, weaken social safety nets, de-regulate and privatize.

Conservative Left: generous social safety nets, less privatization and de-regulation. Also pro-LGBT and abortion but they want strict immigration laws and a strong police force with longer prison sentences, increased military spending.

Ive voted S every time except last when I voted V. Im not sure what to vote this time, prob not S as they lost me during Lven and they have many minnisters I dont think do a good job.

For now! He's gunning for riksdag though, and will be on the list in September. Which just imo shows how out of touch MP are with their potential voter base.

is it like, the more centered they are, the more you agree with them?

From left to right is how Left-wing/Centrist/Right-wing you are. The further up you are the more progressive you are and the further down the more conservative you are (not conservative as in Conservative though).

Compasses like this try to show where your opinions would fall if we took each party at their word for everything, and gave them the most generous interpretation. It's not surprising that your opinions are pretty liberal but that you'd still not consider touching the Liberal party. Same with me - on environmental issues I'm pretty aligned with MP's stated platform, but I have no confidence that they 1. actually believe in it themselves and 2. are competent enough to implement it.
Quite naturally, the parties as they are in real life are different from their idealized forms in a compass!
