Silvally is where the distinction lies. In JP it's name is AR "A R Shisutemu (A R System). If you drop the -temu part of that it reads very similarly to Ar-say-oos (Ay-Ar-Shi-Su). In English the ability is called RKS System. With RKS being quite plainly pronounced "Ar-kay-us", which is quite a bit different from the jp pronounciations. I'd say either version is fine. It seems that the official pronunciation in Japanese is ar-say-oos / ar-soos, and the official English is ar-kay-us. --- Others don't get to dictate what's normal and what isn't. Because that's how I first read it in English, it makes the most sense phonetically, and was probably the original intention before translators were afraid of potential swear word similarities so they went with the stupid af sounding ar kee us. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge.
