Why doesn't Depp hold a grudge against them for re-casting him? Why is it just Pirates 6. I didn't understand why Pirates was getting all the heat for a film that wasn't ever made and therefore hard to prove, when WB had also very clearly let him go because of the whole negative publicity from the Heard situation, and it was barely mentioned? --- "I can eat 50 eggs." -Cool Hand Luke ... Why is it just Pirates 6.The character already had someone elses face to begin with, and its not nearly as iconic as captain jack... plus newt and the chubby guy + the girls had what little connection the movies made with characters imo --- ........the ghost in the machine... Finished it and it was really boring Series needs a reboot tbh, go back to the basics of the first one with a new director who can inject some color back into these movies It wasn't as bad as the second one but it still suffers from bad screenwriting where the viewer really has no sense of the stakes or what the payoff is because of inconsistencies The only 2 likable characters in this series have no reason to be in the dumbledore/grindelwald plot, and David Yates makes these movies look so lifeless --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
