Playing 5, been a while since I played 4 (and the rest) but this feels more generic shooter than the series has ever been

always thought it had a cool setting with a good blend of horror elements and sci-fi. with solid (and often challenging) gameplay in the campaign

GOW1 was the best.

Love it. Really hope the rumored remaster collection (think MCC but Gears) is legit.

I think it's fun and will always play a new one.

It is overall playing it safe but I also feel like the third person shooters go for a more cinematic feel instead of that arcadey chunky feel that Gears has.

tried playing the remaster of 1 but the stupid screen shaking when sprinting was nauseating. don't know how i stomached it all those years ago.

I just played OG GOW 1 on the series X local co op.60fps, Had a blast. 1-3 are are still great. 4-5 are meh. And Judgment is okayish.

Pretty fun, good memories playing co-op at my friend's house. I think we also played Fable II and Resident Evil 5, and of course the Halo series. He was much better than me at FPS games aside from Halo.

I have 3 but can't remember why I stopped playing it, it was great.

I think that's why 4 and 5 are my favorites. They may be a little more generic in some ways, but they're way less consolized than the 360 games

All of them are pretty good though. 2 and 3 actually hold up graphically amazingly well, at least when emulated. Practically look current-gen still (RE5 is the same way)

played the first three, that was enough. the last few seem good but just more of the same...

Forgot how freaking annoying all these one hit kills are in this game

was always funny to me how there was always this debate about how games were too easy or casualized

Moar like Tears of War, I literally stopped playing the series cuz it made me sad as a young teen lol rip Doms wife
