It is about The Minotraur of Greek mythology fame who is immortal and now 5,000 years later is working as a cook in North Carolina. It is told in such a fascinating way where no one fully acknowledges that this dude is a minotaur the way they should. It is more a series of vignettes about life. In addition, I think part of it is due to games' ability to convey a story+setting to me in a visual format as opposed to just a text-based one, which helps bring me into it better, if that makes any sense.
