Didn't get to play the original. By the time I knew final fantasy existed games like that were going for $100. At least Chrono trigger was. Figured with a brand like final fantasy it'd be the same.

Svanda is in the calm lands too. Recruit her for your blitzball team. She's on the jagged edge of the cliffs to the left of the road to the stolen faith.

I doubt it. It was just a weird comment that didn't really make much sense, but I wasn't offended or anything. He even said imo, so I don't think your claim holds up.

I mean yeah, but...why is that a bad thing? I'm trying to engage in a dialogue with him now.

Attention-seeking is hierarchical, but there's no reason it has to be innately stigmatized by society like it is. I think this falls under a benign form of "attention-seeking", which again I'm still dubious that he was actually even doing in the first place based on the tone of his post; namely the imo.

You can't after [a thing happens] and a bunch of NPCs despawn for some reason

eh, he can reset the league later and start recruiting after he got the airplane.
also, isn't Durren actually suck? he's a crutch player that only good at start, but got outclassed quickly.

iirc he vanishes when you entered the final dungeon (Sin), but you can recruit him before that.

my best goalie was Jumal (recruited in Luca) and Keepa (Auroch's goalie, has crazy stat on high level).

i always keep the original Aurochs

Blitz is an easy game anyway and having an OP team just destroys it further

Plus Auorchs Spirit and all that

I like it when each team was a team and not just a randomizer of a bunch of NPCs

One of my games had the Luca Goers end up with 4 Ronsos on their team

I like watching my team grow up and become a buncha monsters. Tidus is always the best player, but Datto & Letty become beasts for me.

Hes kinda mediocre as a goalie, but his name is Keepa, so he was born for the position.

If you keep him through lvl 99, his shot stat randomly spikes up to 99 at the end.

Well last night I was looking all over, even going around he border of the whole area. All I triggered was the little scene about the scar gorge. I've heard she can be al-bhed shop but wasn't there. I've heard she can be up by where you come in from macalania. Haven't checked there yet.

The chocobo trainer is only really useful if you plan on getting tidus his celestial weapon.
I found the training too irritating.
I got the celestial weapons for Waka, auron and Yuna. Since you only have three spots for fighters anyway. Any more is just for completionist purposes.

Apparently i need the chocobo to get into remiem temple for the magus sisters.

Oh yeah, that too.
First time I saw her, she was on the earthen ramp from makalania. Then she was out by the cliffs where it makes a 90degree angle (an albed primer is out there too), and then she just hangs out by the save sphere in the middle of the map.
She's the only one riding a chocobo that ISN'T moving. And her clothes look exactly like svanda, who you should recruit for your team before you leave the calmlands. Svanda is by the location that you triggered the cut scene.
But first... Did you go to the monster arena and get your capture weapons? Do that first, so you can capture the feinds you're killing in every encounter. Capture 10 of each type, for 8 types of feind (or something like that) and you get aurons celestial weapon leveled up.

Getting yojimbo drained my gil reserve so I've been building it up while looking for the chocobo trainer.

Ok got the chocobo trainer finally. Had to go to the macalania exit then back into the calm lands to get her to spawn there. Training exercises done. At least so I can ride a chocobo anyway
