Well...they can only use it once a month. Im for this, though I can imagine many conservative women saying "oh I thought feminists were for equality and now they want preferential treatment" blah blah. They will also probably shit on wording like "those women who menstruate'

By default, I hate any law that specifies different treatment toward one gender, especially when it shamelessly does so on its face. No, I've never had a period, but I really don't feel like even considering this tactic to mitigate the issue.

it's a good idea but it should either be unpaid leave they can take each month without any query OR everyone (men and women) get an extra 1 day paid leave each month
3 days paid leave extra per month is too much, no matter how much menstruating sucks

Eh I'm on the fence about this. I know periods can be awful and can definitely can be seen as a reason to take a sick day, but there is a lot of wiggle room to abuse this. Because yeah, 3 days is a lot.

I'm cool with an unpaid absence with no repercussions, maybe 1 day a month, or just roll some extra sick PTO in for everyone.

Theres no legitimate reason to ever be against something that benefits workers over the business. More employee rights are good. Theres pretty much never a point where they are not good. The only criticism for this is that only women get 3 days, when men should also get 3 days to keep it fair.
