One of my nieces has Covid. I just saw her on Mother's Day so I was in the same place at the same time as someone who had it. Apparently it takes 3-5 days and it's been 5. I haven't felt anything out of the ordinary and I've heard drinking makes it worse and I have been and have felt completely normal. I didn't make direct contact with her (she and the other kids were in the basement most of the time and when everyone was all in the same room, she was on the other side. I think I'm probably in the clear but I will look into getting tested if I start feeling off in any way. (afaik everyone including her is fully vaxxed)

The battery / pen whatever for my cartridges died and the shop in town was sold out. So I just drove 40 mins round trip for a 10 dollar battery just to be able to smoke.

If they don't show up Harpie, you can come with me to the liquor store and take pictures of whatever the fuck you want. I'm not payin you no $25/hr though. In fact, you'll have to pay for my booze. I'll need $250 for gas too. It's only a couple mile drive but you know how gas prices are these days?

I just checked again and it's 28c now which is 82f.

The weather here can vary pretty greatly this time of year. It snowed at this point last year.

81 here. Not pleased about it, but humidity is listed at 50% which isn't bad. Trying to avoid running AC until june and so far, my fan is adequate. Apt stays cooler this year also because it is insulated now (was not before last year renovations). Haven't been outside today but I probably will later. Not feeling like being sober tonight and don't have enough on hand so will have to walk to liquor store. Also if Harpie is paying for Johnny's booze then she should pay for mine too tbh.

Try Canadian gas prices. Gas is like 8 a gallon here. Literally 2 bucks a liter and up to 2.30 a liter in the worst places.

yeah I am not a hot weather person at all lol, especially if humid. I can handle dry heat reasonably well but humidity just sucks the life outta me.

I live for summer. Also the sun just came out and im less bitter till the next cloud covers it and it drops 10 degrees again. Lol.

Here its usually pretty consistently hot by may. Or at least above 20 every day. Especially the last few years... this year has been shit weather non stop. Loke one nice day.

Fall is best because the temperatures start to get acceptable again and it's such a relief to be done with another summer.

Winter is decent. I like snow. I can handle cold. I like shorter sunlight hours. Sometimes snow and ice and cold can get a bit much and become annoying, but it doesn't bother me that much.

Spring is okay but depressing because it means summer isn't far behind.

Summer is just... I can't even.

I love fall but summer is the best by far afaic. Winter can eat a dick.

A bit finally. Mostly its rained and fucked around so much I haven't had a lot of chances.

I did ride my mountain bike 20 some k to class one morning when I didn't have a car. Otherwise just the odd ride at the skatepark.

Same with my apartment. Its on the south west side and the afternoon and evening sun just roast the place.

Normal spring is fine. This spring can fuck right off.

But on the upside maybe half the province won't burn this year. Except it probly will, floods are already fucking shit up, and well probly jump from 16 to fucking 40 inside a day.

I like 40 when you have a chance to acclimate. Its a bitch those years it just goes from cold to blazing heat.

Fires should be bad this year. A huge chunk of NM already has wildfires. Plus lack of water means no river. The lake is dwindling away. We only have a river here for like 3-4 months now.

Where i live is such a weird spot. Somehow its the only place in the valley that's affordable. I got views and im two blocks from the beach and its a decent apartment.

15 mins either direction and id pay 500 plus more a month minimum for a place that was comparable except without views or close to the beach.

He did catch a rat or mouse at the dog park on the beach once. It was gross. I thought he was carrying around dirty paper and grabbed a half dead rodent from his mouth and got rodent blood all over my hands.

I think the max allowable yearly increase is 5% of the last years rent.

Mines only gone up 30 bucks in 6 years though.
