I really thought Lindsay was fucked. The narrative of the episode suggested it and I just didn't see that 1/3 thing working for both players 2 seasons in a row. Alternately Jonathan wasn't looking good either. I really thought Omar was gonna fuck Mike over that idol. Drea's exit was hands down the best the show has ever seen. Cirie was the queen of positive classy exits but Drea shot way ahead of her there. Definite returning player. Can't wait to see her again. Omar is definitely the one to beat now. He has the best overall resume. I'm starting to get "losing finalist" vibes from Mike, but he is entertaining to watch so if he does reach the end and loses, I would hope he at least gets a pity vote. If he could blindside Omar though, his stock would go way up. I don't see Jonathan recovering socially. I think losing finalist is his best possible outcome. COCKFUCK god damn it Carolina score again D:<. Maryanne has been fairly quiet lately. Either she already peaked or her story is just on the back burner prior to stuff we haven't seen yet. Survivor isn't meant to be a Survival scenario. Shit happens sometimes but it's a social game above all else and the Survival element is... relevant at times but mostly a backdrop for the show. I wouldn't go on it. I don't like the climates they usually film in and I don't like getting constant bug bites. I would probably be one of the people that collapses from heat stroke/exhaustion and/or dehydration and gets medevac'd. I'd be good at the social and strategic element though. I played a game on this board that was modeled after it (and Big Brother, another reality competition show) that had 100 people sign up and I ended up winning it. There are still some people kicking around on CE who were part of it, like Choco, GrandConjuration, (mod) Caelthus, Mr Resseti and ToasterStrudeI). I've seen most of Alone. I think the first 5 seasons? Maybe 6. I can't remember. I got interrupted midseason last year due to having to temporarily move in with my parents while my apt was being renovated. I have to figure out where I was and start watching again. The one dude that managed to kill a moose and went on to win was really impressive. Iirc no big game had been successfully killed prior to that season. Then he got fucked over by wolverines stealing his moose fat stash but still made it through. The guy that made it 100 days was fucking awesome too. He had a few setbacks iirc but that fucking shelter he made... Then there was one episode I remember where a woman was chopping wood with a hatchet and got careless while she was narrating to the camera and fucking chopped her hand and severed a tendon. Any sort of cut in a situation like that can fuck you with infection but that's a serious injury in any situation even when medical care is good and accessible. In the most recent season I watched, a dude tapped out in the first or second episode because he had chest pains and had previously had a heart attack, so he was like legit scared for his life. Iirc it wasn't a heart attack and he ended up being okay but imagine being stuck out there in the wilderness and even after making the call, you know help is a few hours away and you don't know what's going on so it's fucking literally life and death. My Necro (mid 80s I think? for level) is decent but building up the army can be a bitch and some of the better farming areas are really annoying to deal with (Travincal is apparently great for runes but it fucks me royally every time. Skeletons can't handle council prickheads and those dumb dildo water snake things just fuck around however they want and spit shit and my minions all fucking just sit there and take it and ignore them). This D3 season though I've been lucky. I got the #1 synergizing side legendary for my build at level 11, literally first fucking legendary I found. Rode that shit all the way to level 70 before I could cube it and trade up on better boots. Now I just got a cube weapon that apparently randomly doubles attack speed. These minion builds can be hilarious. I killed a t12 rift guardian without even seeing it because my minions swarmed the shit out of it while I was picking up random drops.
