I'm fascinated by your choice to vote Greens 1, even though I approve, because you always struck me as... uh, not that type.

Yeah I'll probably go 1 Greens and 2 Labour for Federal.

I'm very much in Labour territory though. Greens have barely any presence here.

Labor.

I appreciate the push for the Greens. The guy before Adam Bandt made an incredible speech about how our political system has been used as a billboard for political change despite those uses being used for personal enrichment, but this current Greens is doing shit like contesting Labor seats more than they're contesting Liberal seats.

I like how progressive the Greens are, and the more Green seats the better. But the Greens will get their policies implemented through the Labor party with enough support, and targeting the Labor strongholds seems like suicide.

The Liberals have national media on their side - Rupert Murdoch, Nine/Fairfax and the United Australia Party. The UAP are attacking all sides, but with Clive Palmer and multiple Liberal MPs like Craig Kelly shilling for them, it's clear that this party is a far-right swing.

So why the Greens, our largest lefty party, are going after Labor seats - our majority centre-left party - is a mystery to me. It pisses me off because we need to push forward against the LNP. This is some serious divide-and-conquer shit y'know. Green seats are counted with Labor votes in the case of a majority Labor vote, so if they target Liberal votes, their efforts will count in getting Liberals out of office. So why are they trying to win Labor footholds instead of Liberal ones?

I'm still pissed off over the NBN fiasco. That was straight-up sabotage by the LNP at Murdoch's behest. Oh, and they're obsessed with turning our country into the absolute shitshow that is US domestic politics, which is even worse.

My only issue with the Greens is they're very focused on the inner cities. They barely make an effort where I live.

Like I had the liberal guy knock on our door. I was at a street festival thing and One Nation (gross) made a big stall with a balloonist for kids to grab attention. One Nation is obnoxiously loud everywhere. I maybe see a couple of Green posters at the polling booth but that's about it.

At the very least it means I do have to go for Labour in my local electorate and our local reps are pretty good.

not really? Since I actually had some kind of basis to say that, based on something youd said. Which you refuse to contextualise or explain.
