Made mabo tofu and I regret eating it. It was the spiciest thing I've ever eaten. My eyes burned from watering and my nose ran down my chin onto my shirt.

Aw man I keep saying I'm gonna eat healthier like that, but I get yogurt and stuff and it just sits in my fridge and goes bad. I make berry smoothies every once in a while, but not enough to justify the giant tubs of yogurt.

Yesterdays soup turned out pretty good. Made a tomato bean soup today thats kinda eh not to mention too spicy. First time I made a soup by just putting the ingredients in a slow cooker & turning it on rather than cooking it properly on the stovetop and I probably wont do that again - just feel a bit too shitty to cook normally today.

Wanted to do Cajun shrimp tacos, seasoned the shrimp generously and sauteed it in butter and garlic. Had no cabbage which is the usual filler for seafood tacos so I shredded some brussel sprouts and flavored it up with lime juice and a bit of salt and pepper.

End result was freaking delicious!

Chicken + cream of mushroom + rice
Panfry the breasts until they brown, cook the rice until it's al-dente, blend the rice into the cream of mushroom, toss the breasts on top, bake it at 400F for 30 minutes.

Cant comment on from scratch but they have instant curry the same way they have instant noodles - you just get a little saute on the meat/veggies, add in a block of the instant curry & some water, get the curry dissolved & bring the pot to a boil, then let it simmer until done. Golden Curry & Vermont Curry are the ones your local grocery might have in stock, and they have instructions on the back for the recommended vegetables/meat, portion sizes, more detailed cooking instructions etc. Typically the usual Japanese curry consists of meat/tofu + onion + carrot + potato but mushrooms & cauliflower also work well in the mix.

Yeah curry's pretty easy to make. It's basically an Asian stew/chili. Just put the veggies, meat, and spices together and serve with rice.

As for me, I'm currently attempting to make a mini baked Alaska. Waiting for my ice cream cake to freeze up solid before I make the meringue. I'll let y'all know if it comes out well!

My Baked Alaska attempt. Not bad, but I had a power outage, so the ice cream melted a little bit and my meringue didn't burn correctly. I really should see if I can get a new whisk for my stand mixer. I broke my hand one trying to make this.
