If I still had a cat I would so get that for my cat and it would probably love it more than any toys ever.

a cat sub box is harder to do than one for dogs, which is why the dog ones are more popular and you see them more than ones for cats, because dogs don't give a fuck they just see treats or toys and consume all

cats? cats are finnicky. you get a box that your cat wants nothing to do with, you're probably not gonna want to get it again since now you just wasted money on something that isn't used.

it's different for pets in general than humans. if you get a sub box, most of the reason for getting it is the experience. you'll get to try foods and snacks from a different part of the world. and if you don't like something in it? that's to be expected and you go in to it knowing that. you have understanding that the animal doesn't have. if they don't like something, they just don't like it, and you get a mediocre to bad experience of disappointment.

Based on your description I assume the box is all your getting and it is just a box with a theme like a tank or a castle? Oddly none of my cats have ever really had much interest in boxes, I feel like the internet lied to me.

Yep, it's just themed boxes, like a castle or a space ship or a car etc.

And my cats loved boxes, we would get them toys etc, and instead of playing with them, they would just get in the box instead. i used to put cushions on the bottom of the boxes for them etc.

It's actually a great idea, although i don't know if the cats would appreciate it anymore than normal boxes, it would be cool for the humans, you could even have them be themed based on the holidays around the month. Like halloween box for october, xmas box for december, 4th of july box for...july hehe.
