Some of us have been in similar situations with a partner that mentally abused them or physically beats on them. My ex wife did similar things including trying to stab my foot with a knife. Biting, scratching, kicking, punching, pulling hair, throwing and breaking things you own. You get stuck in a tornado of it all and cant think clearly enough to get out until they decide theyre done with you. Depp thankfully had money and people to help him.
