I am not trolling I honestly don't get it.

Due to gender identities, bisexuality is when youre attracted to two (or more, apparently) genders. Where pan is attraction regardless of sex, gender identities, or whatever else

I always thought bi meant you were into guys and girls and pan was that you didn't care, boy, girl, Trans, nongender, and whatever else is all appealing

Bo normally meant that. But thats because people used to only consider those as the two main genders. With more gender identities, bi could be different now. Think about it from the prefix of the words.
Hetero means the other, where homo is the same. And bi mean two, but I guess the word doesnt need to follow that to a tee That said, it also depends on who you ask. The definitions may vary, but they are normally similar. So, while pan is people regardless of gender, most say bi is either two genders, or two or more genders

It still doesn't make sense to me. It seems like a redundant word to me. A person with boobs and a vagina is who I am attracted to. Doesn't matter if they are straight, gay, bi, vegan, etc. and thats what pan seems to mean but with both genders?

You are straight, it seems. You are attracted to females. Not sure if only cis females, or also trans. Pan is attracted to anyone, regardless of sex or gender identity. For example, Im gay and Im attracted to cis males. Pan would be attracted to cis males, trans males, cis females, trans females, gender fluid individuals, non-binary individuals, and any other gender identity Its very easy to understand If they are attracted to a person, they would date them Im not sure how else to explain

I guess my problem is I always grouped trans people with what ever gender they want to be. So a FTM was always a male to me and a MTF was a Female. So I guess thats where I was confused.

Most likely. While I do call a trans person the gender they identify as, there can be a distinction. That said, even if they didnt separate cis and trans, there is still gender-fluid or non-binary people. Which could still make pansexuality different from bisexuality

I myself have been confused, too. I'm not rejecting the different sexualities. I just can't figure out the terms.

Those people still have the bits I do or don't like. So its not like I am attracted to a woman and instantly lose that attraction if they inform me they are either of those things.

They do have the bits. But that doesnt matter if they dont identify as that gender Gender identity is starting to be used more and more these days

No. Its not. Its actually a Latin term So, its always been a real thing. Even before people were using it for cisgender. We know you have a problem with trans people, but you can at least try to get you information correct

Not really. I thought about that, too But really, just one more word is probably needed. Basically, a word that would mean attracted to one gender. Since bi can mean two or more (but less than all), you just need one that mean attracted to one gender identity (but that does not fall under hetero- or homosexual)

Can you imagine having that fucked up of a life. You see some one hella hot and you go up to them hoping to your god that they are gender-fluid and then finding out that they aren't and so you have to continue your hunt for your white whale.

I'm attracted to things made in pots, oven and on BBQ grills.

But honestly I'm more of a grey/a-sexual type person. I do find women slightly more attractive (curves etc) but more for the cuteness factor then straight up sexy due to boobs etc (basically sexual parts).

I guess a person who isn't strongly attracted to any sexual organs is kinda like a pan-sexual who is attracted to anyone regardless of the sexual organs (or if they have them at all).

I'm attracted to personality more than anything else, and would never "hit it" with someone I didn't really like/care for etc. That being said I would have been fine getting in a relationship with a guy who was really into me and that I really cared about got along with etc. It wasn't something I went looking for so it never happened.

My wife (the only long term relationship I had) basically bopped my over the head and dragged me back to her cave. No guy did that or I might have ended up married to a guy instead. Basically just wanted to be desired/wanted by a person I cared about. Luckily I got that, sadly she passed away:(

Which is why many people dont choose like that. Most would find someone they are attracted to and date them regardless of what they identify as. For example, most people dont consider themselves bi if they date cis females and and trans females who have had gender reassignment surgery So, most people would probably still date them. As most wouldnt care While its fine to make it a word, most probably wouldnt identify as that

Oh yeah!! That might be the term I was looking for, I think I heard it called Grey-sexual before as well, but yeah, Demi is more wide spread. I'm pretty sure that is what I was.

Bisexuals are either: attracted to the gender the same as your own, AND to other genders, or: attracted to two or more genders.
I've seen both used.

Pansexuals are attracted to all genders, generally. Alternatively, that gender simply doesn't factor into whether or not they're attracted to someone.

There's some overlap, obviously.

There's been some manufactured controversy about bisexuality being transphobic- it's not. There's already been a transphobic orientation dreamed up by transphobes that briefly went viral and it was not bisexuality.

Or, more to reality: You expect to have your bullshit called out non stop.

Bisexual, roughly speaking is interested in only some subset of people. Maybe they want specific plumbing, maybe they don't like beards, maybe they don't want to date somebody who looks better in a dress then they do.

Pansexual takes those limitations, looks at them, shrugs, and then dates anybody they damned well please.

Omnisexual takes those limitations, balls them up into a wad, tosses them into the trash and laughs at them.
