At least you're within a viable range, my best characters only recently cracked 3k.

The gearing system in this game sucks, and it's probably the biggest thing throttling me right now.

What are y'alls teams like?

I just pushed the mana boards and didn't level up any gear until I hit a wall. I still haven't leveled up right side gear just left for Duran (holding out on mats till I find decent rolls, hasn't happened yet). My main boost has been memory gems and the mana boards. Only just pulled a healer (spent 6 - 10 pulls worth of gems and got Sumo and x2 new wind guy) and never used healing items.

I run: Duran 5*-1 unleash (Level 79), 4* Riesz (70), 4* Angela (70)

I burn chocolates and candies like madman lol.
My team suffers diabeeetus.

The sub except Serafina are gearless.
The mains are 2*-3* gears. Still trying to get enough 4* Topple Cottons for everyone.

I was thinking of trying Echoes of Mana, but is it true that it has a lot of loading screens, and auto play is like Alchemy Stars where you have to just leave your phone on? Like you cant close the game and do something else, or even do anything else in game like SMS?

Yes. You have better experience with Android emulators off PC.
Dunno how AS autos are like, but EoM autoventure is basically Arknights auto-deploy that can auto-deploy itself with few quirks.

It has a lot of loading screen if you go to Home screen (a town like place). If you use drop down menu ('burger') on the top-right corner of the screen, then the loading depends on how good your phone is.

The restrictive stamina system means you're better off in most cases playing manually rather than letting the AI do whatever it wants. You'll be done faster and with better consistency.

For loading times never go through the home screen only use the shortcuts on the burger menu in the top right and you skip 90% of loading.

Eh, I really don't feel like doing Babel Tower this time in PGR. I think I'll just focus on prepping my characters for the next event.

Coffer co-op event in EOM feels easier than Searing VH co-op.

Maybe all the no-lifers are on right now doing it though.

The boss itself is easier than the freaking golem.

I attempted VH solo with that team in the picture (below rec pwr as you can see) and I ran out of time with boss @ 10% left instead of being wiped.

I barely eked out a win after retrying 10+ times with my team.

2 and a half minutes is barely any time AND you have to kill every chest as well as the boss.

It's definitely easier but I don't think it was intended to be challenging.

Hardcore not enough to be competitive, so time to start gearing for extreme.

Gonna be tough increasing all the 3444 skill chars to 4777 (minus bad skills like accuracy).....

Might even try replacing Haruna with Aris in PvP lol. Mine is fully maxed and all Aris shots pierce enemies.

You will be starved for materials for awhile. A strong support and your level 40 carmilla will help carry through the early chapters.

Yay...

I got Duran which was my #1 hope. I wouldn't have minded Shiloh though since I could really use a shade character.

I was hoping for a copy of Popoi as then I'd have all the released 4* but guess I'm waiting for a while. Apparently Crimson Wizard is a side-grade just without the range aka good AI.

I never really touched Babel Tower before. I've just been doing the maze, pain cage and war zone. And I'm doing C-Turret too.

Sword users do have super armor so at least you will hear his knockdown grunt less.

Your first priority is usually using materials to ascend your servants, but when you have the spare materials definitely level Mash's skills. She will really help with survival.

After the 11th they're making it so that retries don't take up your 1/3 chances. This was confirmed bug.

That's the one. The center bingo is log in for 14 days. New board after that is 30 day login for another 4* ticket.

I really want to get into Echoes of Mana but the entire not invincible when you execute a super thing REALLY bugs me. I can handle everything else but the fact that you're a sitting duck to enemies when you're doing a particularly long windup is really bleh. If they insist on having that, they really need to make the animations much shorter.

You're correct but fortunately there's a huge delay in bosses where they do nothing in between attacks and basic attack animations can be cancelled with a dodge.

You really need to bait enemies (or, for sword user characters, unga bunga through super armor) before you cast your ST/great magic.

Some ST have considerable startup range like Riesz's, and that can make it slightly easier, but even that needs to be careful especially around mooks (which hits hard, too).

The worst part of Reisz is that there's a dash in her special and that can sometimes move you into a hitbox when you were previously outside of it.

Is sad about Luminaria. It had good characters and story.

Just... The gameplay was shit and you had no reason to gacha or buy given didnt need any of it for story content. They had one raid which was just a grind that have minor cosmetics you only ever saw in said raids

Dislyte is pretty shit. They locked the pre reg rewards behind daily logins, so rerolling is a pain. You can tell that they're also stingy with summons, which isn't surprising coming from the team behind AFK Arena.

I didn't know that. They gave some bs reason for locking the rewards behind logins, but we all know they don't want people rerolling for good accounts.

They said it was to "block account selling" but realistically account sellers are gonna use bots to collect all the login rewards anyway.

Tales of Link was a good ass time. They kept it simple, made it easy to use a lot of your favorite units, had decent rewarding events. It also ran for a good 2-3 years and made them a decent amount of money. Also most of the characters were the popular characters in different seasonal costumes.

That's just a winning formula. Whatever the fuck the recent Tales gachas do don't really appeal all that much, esp when their main team is actually picking up the slack and releasing a really good Tales recently.

Weird thing about Tales of Link was that all the servers were shut down, while only the global version of Tales of the Rays was shut down, presumably because it wasn't making a bazillion dollars in revenue I guess. Still salty about that after all these years.

My best are *4 Angela, *4 Randi, and *3 Primm. So pretty much all the freebies up until now.

My mana board progress stopped around the time they started needing more than one gold coin per level, and most of my memory gems are leveled up, they're just not at a particularly high level because I haven't gotten very many dupes of them yet.

I always hoped they would, you know, just *fix* the flaws and keep the game rolling.

Nope, let's just announce the servers are closing and then drop a stealth advert for the *next* Digimon mobile game instead. Thank god I never gave them money.

Its really a shame, because I tend to love Digimon games. The sense of accomplishment when you finally train them up to their final form is better than normal gachas, probably because they change so much aesthetically.

I figure Ill give the new game a shot out of fairness, but itll be on a short leash. I wont be as patient with the game as I am with others >:(

The best Digimons are the PS1 games.
