I don't have a high level of confidence that they're actually going to prevent her from being on the ballot, but we'll see how this goes. She'll be testifying today.

Were I a public figure, I'd make a bet that I'd donate to her reelection campaign if she could get through her entire defense without using the words 'woke,' 'cancel culture,' or 'pedophile.' (Based on some of her recent tweets I think 'groomer' is too advanced for her vocabulary)

MTG is now testifying... She won't even directly answer whether someone who unlawfully attempted to stop the count of the electoral vote is an enemy of the constitution... I guess this is how we should expect it to go, given her typical behavior.

He was asking her about all that "1776" bullshit that she and other right wingers were parroting over and over before/during/after January 6th. He was going over some light details about the revolutionary war and how the war itself was an insurrection against the British government.

Yeah, if you look at the list of bills she has sponsored during her time in congress, she's pretty much doing nothing but wasting everyone's time.

That's intentional. People elected her on the promise that she would do exactly that. This is not even new either. Mitch McConnell had been doing it since 2008.

I'm not talking about any kind of criminal/civil liabilities, I'm talking about him apparently thinking the Dems impeaching Trump was going to actually work, INCLUDING a conviction in the Senate, and then having to back off and return to being a Trump bootlicker once he realized he wasn't going to be able to get 17 Republican senators to vote for it.
