In this case we are referring to the average heterosexual man and saying that they should switch to having sex with men as a preference is incredibly offensive. Not saying your post is offensive, but I can feel this coming up as an option at some point in this topic and I want to get it out of the way early that it isn't okay.

Back in the day women were financially oppressed and therefore any dude with money was fuckable.

We obviously won't be going back to that though so the path forward is unclear.

Women do have insane standards.

That said, men do actually need to raise their own standards. No matter how much women cry about it. And trust me, anytime they meet one with standards, they bawl.

Unfortunately, getting men to do that, is difficult. The average man is a very lonely individual. Hard to pass on food when you've been starving for months or years.

Alternatively, we could drop standards across the board and realize we can't all be goddamn rich until we eat the current existing rich people.

Yeah, I've met too many women that don't hold the same standards. And too few men that have similar standards. So, I can't actually come to agreement here on that basic level. Now if you have some stats, let's talk. As for now, it's all anecdote.

Well, guys are often the gatekeepers for a serious relationship, but will fuck tons of people, so that kinda proves that. And, as you already stated, most women have standards simply for sex. So I think you have to actually explain the disagreement.

Men are gatekeepers for relationships, but you'll find our disagreement on the standards for a relationship between men and women are not the same. I've met too few guys that provide way too much and demand basically nothing in return. Watched too many of those relationships fall apart.

Oh, gotcha. I would say that the standards are different but still similar in terms of how strong they are. You may disagree, but I have seen way too many women get in a relationship where they provide too much and demand basically nothing in return. It is about 50/50 in my experience. As soon as guys start being one sided in these arguments, I know they either have confirmation bias, aren't actually friends with any women, or just have sexist views whether they realize it or not.

I've personally only ever seen one...maybe two women where they were the ones providing too much. Confirmation bias, sure. Maybe. But, I find it more interesting that we have both seen extreme end differences and how that compares across the board on a more broad level.

Am I saying guys are blameless? Hardly. Neither are the women though.
