I pay extra to stream on four screens simultaneously. It shouldnt matter that those screens are often in separate houses. They even let you create separate profiles.

They'll probably use registered devices like some other services do, where you get like 2 devices for a TV and a mobile phone, and if you want to switch them around, you have to wait 30 days or whatever.

Its definitely the reason why and they think stopping people from sharing it going to being in more subs, lol.

They shouldve known raising prices would push some ppl out. Theyre lucky it wasnt more subscriptions. Also...they still mustve had more revenue from the increased prices so why are they crying?

It does work better for my job, though. I couldnt download episodes from Hulu. And while I can for Disney+, it has an issue with staying logged in But thats like the only thing I like them for Other than that, Im not really feeling them anymore

I think it was something like you have to use 2FA every time youre at a different IP address. And only one IP can be used from an account at a time I think

streaming services aren't worth it anymore.

i unsubbed from most of them when i realized i was paying 90/mo to watch the shows i wanted to watch cause they're not all in one place anymore (like cable).

you will probably be made to log in and sync across all 3 (is it 3? maybe 2, i forget, but i know it depends on your plan) devices you intend to use the account on and after it's done it will be incredibly difficult to change it, i'm sure.

I sure hope not. But I dont think they do something that stupid Theyve made a lot of stupid. But that move would basically make it unwatchable

I wonder how many of their subs are made up of shared accounts that only exist because of an agreement of sharing? What Im getting at is, lets say 2 friends share Netflix, and they only have Netflix because they share the bill. Netflix cracks down, and those 2 people then cancel it because they arent willing to pay the price individually.

Netflix may lose many more subs over this.

This whole situation is just going to make me only watch One Piece.

Well pretty much the only reason I keep mine is because my sister and mother use it, so Ill probably cancel if they cant.

Hope the company fuckin dies along with every other streaming service

There isn't a limit to total number of devices that are allowed to access the account, just the number of devices that can use it simultaneously. The premium plan allows for up to four devices to be using the account at the same time. So it only stops you if too many people are trying to use it at the same time.

They had me till Stranger Things season 4 anyways.

The question there is whether they'll continue to allow it in different households (different source IP addresses), though.

Stranger Things season 4 and Cobra Kai season 5. Once those come out, Netflix is gone

The annoying thing for me is The Dragon Prince. Picked up for 4 more seasons. I might have to cancel and resub when a new season comes out

This is only going to make more people drop their service, it's already overpriced as it is.

The streaming market is so absurdly balkanized and over-saturated that consolidation and mergers are already happening.

Disney or Warner is likely to buy out Netflix within a year or two, if they keep fucking up.

The only reason Netflix is so popular is bc everyone knows someone's Netflix password lol
