I've never played a Splatoon game before and it looked fun. Just wondering if the online community is dead, or will they all just vanish with S3 comes out?

I saw the game was $40 on amazon.

well if you really want it, you can certainly find it cheaper then $40

but just wait at this point

Community is definitely still thriving. Great game. Try and find it super cheap if you wanna grab it, but consider waiting.

If 2 is like 1, then you jumped in too late. By now folks online are so good that if you started now, you'd get beaten so badly that your team might do better without you. You can still learn and get better but it'll be a rough climb.

disagree, learning curve is easy and there is plenty of range in ability.

This was my experience with 2

All the vets had their perfect gear and trying to grind to get those yourself just meant getting pwned over and over and over

I couldn't take the beating anymore, not without at least winning half the games which I didnt, so I went back to the original

Also kinda found it weird that dualies got an extra ability while all the other weapons didnt

Thanks, I'll just wait for the third game.
