They have been in a "will they, won't they" situation for like half a decade. Always missing the opportunity to get together. They were never single at the same time...but that all changed late last year. She came to our New Years Eve party, instantly reconnected. They danced in each other's arms all night and shared a kiss at the strike of midnight. It was finally happening. A week later, she told him that money was tight, that she was getting kicked out of her old place. He offered to let her live in his house until she found a new job. She never responded.
