Its not a forever thing. Just for 12 weeks then transitioning back to Keto. But my keto consists of more leafy greens, and lean proteins with healthy fats on top. Think kale + chicken but the chicken has a cheesy sauce on top. Also, I do low portions on Keto and still skip meals or even days.

You're not going to get shredded that way.... You could lose weight that way, but in order to put on muscle you actually need to eat something to make that muscle otherwise your body will start destroying your muscle to fuel yourself.

The low calorie shakes that Im taking are high in protein. I dont expect to gain muscle on this short diet but I can definitely maintain it.

P.S. I made a topic for you and you didnt post. Broke my heart. Luckily it was only part 1 of many.

You need to zigzag double calories at least every 3rd or 4th day and do not get up too fast. If you start feeling feint, get to a seated or laying down position until it passes and drink some water.

You can probably get advice from your doc's nurse for free. You need to make sure any health issues or whatever they know about you won't cause any problems.

i got through yesterday with only 2 shakes. Was tough getting to sleep cause my work out was so close to bed time. But once I did I slept amazing!

Legs are sore and I plan on visiting the massage parlor today before I go to gym and destroy my legs again.

Still not hungry. Hydrating.

Down a total of 9lbs since Monday.

112/81 blood pressure.

Kids eating their morning cereal and I feel no hunger or urge to eat. The smell of Cinnamon Toast Crunch is nice but idc to have some.

I will have some coffee this morning, though. Just a bit of espresso.

So its been a week, and Ive lost 13 pounds. Insane. Waking up every morning and seeing the scale is enough motivation for the day.

I feel more focus and present than I ever did.

After doing some research, Im heavily considering turning to a Mediterranean diet once this intense liquid diet is over.

I had to be on a liquid diet for three weeks after my bite reconstruction surgery. I just ate all the same stuff, but blended it with some added broth to get the consistency right. I also had a Boost with every meal. The annoying thing was that I'd end up feeling full from each meal, but because so much of that was just water volume, I'd end up feeling hungry relatively quickly. That, and I had to spend an extra 5-10 minutes between finishing cooking and actually being able to eat blending everything up, which got pretty tiresome by the end.

I managed to only lose 5 pounds the whole time, when most people in that situation lose 15-20, so my doctor was pretty impressed. Still, I wasn't a fan.

My shakes have 10g of fat so I think that helps keep me satiated longer. But during times of hunger I find that a work out alleviates it. Im not doctor but am assuming the intense work out forces the body to burn fat for fuel and the liver uses up its sugar storage. Which isnt a bad theory when you consider that everyones blood glucose levels rise when working out.

Alright. 14lbs down.

But Im doing this thing now where Im losing weight but Im making others around me fatter. Sometimes if theres something I see that I would want to just cave and eat Ill go and buy it but then give it to my wife and/or kids. And the craving is gone. Weird, huh? I think the act of acquiring a sweet or treat is just as rewarding as consuming it.

Weird side effect of this diet Ive always had a strong sense of smell but now its uncanny. Im assuming its because since my body thinks I cant find food its upping that sense to help me track it down.

Im still not phased by food. And thats considering that Ive been teaching my 8 year old how to cook, and he made Pizza and Chicken n waffles.

I feel like Im a fucking Prius. 3 small shakes a day, and I have enough fuel. Hell, one day this week I only had ONE shake. Thats it. 160 calories.

I no longer look at meals and food as something to bring joy in my life but instead a minor task to perform. Like brushing your teeth. This might sound like a bad thing but I am so much more focused and energized on taking on more productive tasks. Working on business, work, studying, researching investment opportunities, playing truth the kids and fam, etc.

Tomorrow is 2 weeks and im down 17lbs. My muscles look just as big as ever but they feel more solid and not a mix of muscle and thin layer of fat.
