How do you do it in less then 1000 guesses? Do words repeat?

damn nice. im trying it rn but ill prob take a break from it and post my results in a few hours

Seems so. I guess there's a randomizer and there's words that will repeat. So there's 1000 words, but not 1000 unique ones I guess.

The words are cleared when you get all the letters green, even if it's in separate attempts.

So if you guess "Brass" then "Gloat", and the word "Grass" was in the list, Grass will clear even if you don't type it in whole.

Well, that explains when I was down to 5 words left, that two-three disappeared when they were completely different words.

Huh, thats a neat idea for these "mega" wordles to make them more possible and encourage getting the least amount of guesses

Surely there is a way to get every single word in 26 guesses or fewer every time, then?

Didn't understand the concept at first.

If I ever try again, I could probably shave off ten guesses.

Got it in 109, after reading that you just need every letter (more or less) in every possible slot it became much easier. Butte, treat, items. Bam, all 5 slots for t are taken care of, just as an example.

I got lazy after about 30 guesses. Could have probably shaved off ten or so if I was taking better notes about which letters I still needed to use and had more patience to look for good pairings.

You just need to make sure that each letter gets used in each slot. Well, mostly. J, q, u, v, w, x, y, and z are all pretty unlikely to show up in more than one or two slots.

I'm just not getting it.

Someone on Reddit posted a score of only needing 30 guesses to fully solve.

Perhaps if I could read the rules or something for this challenge.

Right now, it makes no sense at all to me.

Basically you don't need to have all 5 letters correct at the same time for a word to be counted. As long as you got each letter of a word correct at some point, it'll be counted as completed.
Let's say your Kilordle has the word "panic"
You could solve the word "panic" by sending "manic" and then "paint"; you got the last 4 letters correct with "manic" and "p" correct with "paint"
