imo most of these don't live up to the standard of quality that a starter Pokemon should have.

i basically don't like any 3rd evos because they stop being cute

i voted chesnaught though 'cause it's the closest. still kinda weird-looking tho tbh

Decidueye is a top-tier Pokmon

Top tier: Rillaboom
<Nostalgia tier>: Venusaur, Meganium
<Cool tier>: Torterra, Serperior
Mid tier: Sceptile
The Worst tier: Chesnaught, Decidueye

The 2nd and 3rd tiers are basically tied for me but I feel the need to distinguish between the two groupings.

Top: Chesnaught, Decidueye
Good: Sceptile, Serperior
Okay: Torterra
Bad: Venusaur, Meganium
Shit: Rillaboom

Torterra > Decidueye > Rillaboom > Chesnaught > Sceptile > Meganium > H-Decidueye > Venusaur > Serperior

I only like the Top 4.

Only one possible option here for me. Like, Meganium and Venusaur are my number 2's here, and I don't particularly care for either much!

Rillaboom looks sweet in design. I need to play the newest Pokmon, still one behind.

Until then, Decidueye the obvious choice for me.

Those are my top two as well. Great taste!

Sceptile is my favourite Gen III Pokemon but Torterra is a continent turtle and Decidueye is so cool. Argh!

Torterra > Meganium > Decidueye > Sceptile > Serperior > Venusaur > Donkey Kong > Chesnaught

I'm surprised Decidueye is winning so decisively. I thought it would be Venusaur.

Anyway, Venusaur is not only the best one here by far, it's one of the best Pokemon in the entire series. Feraligatr is the only Pokemon I like more than it.

I'm a fan of the whole Rowlet line, I have some issues with Decidueye's design in particular (and its typing) but I'm glad to see it dominate at least one day! I also like Torterra and Serperior, and I give Meganium credit for being such a big step up over its prevos. Don't care for the other 4.

Grass starter lines really do the basic form best.

Sceptile > Decidueye > Serperior > not sure about the middle > Rillaboom > Meganium

Meganium is probably the only bad one. They're just generally disappointing. The top two are great though.

Venusaur is great and is my vote here, but I really like Torterra too. Those two are way, way above the rest.

Huh, didn't expect Sceptile to be dead last. I'll say it, people that put Decidueye in the bottom tier just have bad taste, straight up.

Hisuian pokemon haven't been in any of the polls yet, this poll series was started before Legends came out and initially there weren't proper renders of most of the new forms. Also I didn't want to spoil people if they hadn't seen them yet, and for this poll there'd be vote splitting between Decidueyes to consider.

The Hisuian forms will have their day in the sun, I promise!
