Met an Egypt God user who, after I depleted their LPs, managed to pull out Obelisk.
After several turns of being cherry-picked, very wrongly, I won because I drew a monster-equip card for my 3500 ATK Red-Eyes fusion.

Man. I need more reliable beatstick.

Any suggestion? Also a better warrior monster recommendation would be lovely.

Whoa! My man, we need to optimize some things for you. No wonder your having some brick problems.

I see a lot of powerful one off cards. Which some decks can get away with but most decks dont do well with it. You have all the good tech cards but not the ability to use them when you need right?

You also need red eyes darkness metal dragon. He is a huge engine for not only red eyes but for a couple of dragon decks. He is limited to 2 for a reason. You need less of the chicks on the left side of the egg and more of Black metal dragon on the right side.

I would take out the other traps and focus on red eyes kunai with chain and infinite imperm. You want consistency not random. So while the other traps might be good they can become dead draws. Especially since they are traps which have to wait to be activated. Its why most decks if they run traps its only imperm. Because you can activate it from your hand.

Same goes for the random N rarity cards. Take them out and put In more cards you want to see more often rather than once in a blue moon.

You have lightening storm and feather duster. You dont need MST. You have two sources of backrow removal. Maybe add in knightmare Phoenix to the extra deck instead of MST. You should easily be having monsters reoccur and special summon to make it or verte when you want. Cross sheep is another good extra deck monster if you get into good extensions

Any recommended changes?

I feel like I don't have enough tuner cards in the deck. But I find myself needing synchro material though. Boosted loader is very useful for making formula synchron and easy to summon. Quillabolt is useful with foolish burial and other ways to discard and junk synchron to bring back. I took out lefty and righty drivers to the two new magic cards. I also am giving stardust synchron a try so I took out both my level 2 synchron tuners.

Stardust synchron is meh. I miss having 2 star tuners though.

Stardust Synchron can search out Starlight Road if you ever wanted extra protection. They basically have to snipe it out or you essentially cancel out all of their AOE destruction

I keep misclicking and summoning the wrong link monster instead of IP Masquerena.

By 'less chick', you mean zero or one? Because I do feel it is one of the limiting card. I would be glad to drop it to zero if it can increase consistency.

I kinda need that Meteor Impact and Mana Dragon Zirnitron for Red-Eyes Fusion materials. Unless there are better options.

Also my UR CP is zero.

I'd probably ditch the Black Dragon Chicks completely, yeah, and put in a third Black Metal Dragon. Same with switching out the Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and Red-Eyes Wyvern for another Mana Dragon at the very least. And personally, I'd probably add in a Summoned Skull (or Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning*) and then add Archfiend Black Skull Dragon to the Extra Deck; when I was playing Red-Eyes, I found its effects - stops effect activation until after the damage step when attacking, and lets you shuffle one of your Normal Red-Eyes monsters (including the Gemini monsters) from the GY back into the deck to deal extra burn damage equal to their attack - useful for closing the game out.

*: I'm personally saying Summoned Skull because while the REAoL fits better thematically, it only counts as a Normal monster in your hand, which makes it harder to bring out Archfiend BSD.

Yeah, a bummer on that. I've been debating on that putting Archfiend BSD in and out.

I got Beast of Talwar for that; basically Summoned Skull but N rarity.

Edit: also is other types of Fusions worth it in Red-Eyes? Like the one that banishes from GY to fusion.

Went to locals today to play IRL. I opened a case of Battle of Chaos and got this beauty.

And a total of 6 Guardian Chimeras. At $50 each, they made up almost half the cost of the case alone.

I have 2 boxes of that like ghost rare box coming. I'm hoping to pull any of the Ghost Rares just for collection, but I have low hopes. My gacha luck hasn't been stellar of late, and I haven't hit it hard in YGO packs in an eternity.

In fact, the only reason I ever got back into physical card games was ages ago when Storm of Ragnarok near the end of the 5D's era released. I bought a pack for fun, and I was utterly shocked with a ghost rare Odin, Father of the Aesir. It was within 3 packs, but I remember it was the first pack I grabbed. That was enough to pull me back in, and Ghost Rare has a special place in my heart for me. Was really sad when they discontinued it for regular packs

So I wanted to test the ready/instant fusion package for Thunder Dragons. I have 3 cards in a 40 card deck. 5-6 games. Havent drawn any of them. I can still win. Its Thunder Dragons but damn if its not funny.

Royals are worth more dead than alive to me. They are worth 30 UR cp each. But I am a lot more mercenary about my cards

Agreed. I only have 3 royals on my main account (2 being used in decks and 1 that the game won't let me dismantle to get rid of) and none on my side account because I always dismantle them if I don't plan to use them.

Yeah, that UR is a fusion that needs specific fusion card too, Fossil Fusion.

Since I don't need it right now I will dismantle it to make the very first (and maybe last) Darkness Metal Dragon.

At least now I cleaned the entire Red-Eyes pack.

I also got Dragonmaid Sheou. So that's where my gems would be in the future, I guess.

Dragon Maids are crazy good. I hate playing against them. They can be be really consistent with the right list. Plus you have all the good dragon cards already and the Red eyes engine for the deck. Which I didnt have when I was testing, spoiler alert it was bad without the Red Eyes Engine.

I just won against dragon maids only because I know how they work. If I didnt I wouldnt have been able to make them waste the negate sheou has.

I was expecting you to pitch in waifu reasons in there lol. I like the redhead maid personally.

I would try it with one copy. See how you like it then decide. You may think you like only 1, he is really searchable in the deck so you will see REDMD enough or should be.

Im floating my UR right now for my darn Ramen package I still havent even seen one card of. Im playing a 37 card deck at this point XD I havent been able to test and dont want to waste crafting materials

I think whats bugging me the most isIm still winning which is kinda proving I dont really need those cards :(

e: first 5 cards draw 3 OG Red-Eyes, a Black Flare, and a Darkness Metal.
Man, the brick is real.

I'd have to see if the game is still in my Match History, but if my memory isn't being faulty, it was basically Junk/Jet Synchron, Mecha Beast O-Lion/Auroradon, and Deskbot (plus Emergency Teleport), all shoved awkwardly in to a Dragonmaid deck. Not sure what the plan was, since I've been playing Dracos for the Platinum grind, and thus did... well, True Draco things on their first turn and forced a quick concede.

Aah. I just met something similar (even has Assault Mode engine) but I don't think it is Dragonmaid, instead a full synchro.

And it just reminds me that Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon is really 'love on our side, hate on the other side'.

Verte is just bonkers good. For my Thunder Dragons its even more gross cause we can use Thunder dragon fusion again next turn to get any Thunder monster from the deck as a separate effect.

Okay, I am at plat 3 and only 6 wins away from plat 1. I figured this alternate version of Sky Striker deck is putting a lot of work. My hand is actually not being that bad and even if Raye was not in hand at times, I still managed to win. Currently at 6 win streak so I hope I get 6 more wins to reach plat 1 once again

Still trying to get a feel as well as finding a way to get Flare Metals to the board quick, and negates that is near non existent on this deck.
Apart from Verte I also made Guardragon Pisty (made 2 but should have been one, good thing it is R) and Noctovision Dragon.

Red Eyes fusion is powerful because you cause use materials from your hand, deck, or field. Thats a powerful search because of the other wording on the card. Which is the fusion has to be a red eyes one. So In theory you can fuse which ever Red eyes for the situation due to if you have verte combo (or just the fusion itself) plus 1 piece and youre in business.

One way to get more Darkness Metal is trying to get black metal dragon on the field by anyway you can and then usepitsy (forgive me on the names) to link him away to get his second effect to search for Darkness metal. You get darkness metal easily on the board to start things rolling.

But the card itself limits to one per turn, as well as locking you out of other summoning type (haven't tried fusion through other means, though) except Set, thus why my concern about Verte copying its effect.

Probably better to save Verte's copy effect for the last.

Red-Eyes Malefic seems good for Xyz Flare Metal, but it requires OG Red-Eyes to be banished and I'm not sure how to search Malefic to the hand, and DMD's summoning does not work on banished monsters.

And I'm back to Plat 1, just in time for the Synchro Event tonight.

I definitely learned my lesson on that one only time i activate it on my oppoonents turn is at the end phase or if dark magic circle/dm the dk is out

Also every time i see eldlich its an instaloss. I can beat the zoo or dryton or sky strikers but eldlich feels like i should just surrender :(

Plat seems better this season at least. No more dynamite bots, only had one ignknight/cyberstein ftk. Seeing more fun stuff mostly syncros obviously but had a lot of blue eyes games recently. Necrovalley is catching up to blue eyes fast even though it hasn't worked out once. Guess even degenerate deck players are taking a break to play with the new cards.

Eldlich is annoying if you don't pack enough backrow removal or a specific card meant to deal with it, but it's definitely beatable. The best way to beat Eldlich is to banish their copies of goldy boi or play a card that stops effects in the graveyard.

Some decks just generally have a terrible matchup against Eldlich though.

I have dark magic attack and dark burning magic but dm is a slow deck and if i go 2nd they almost always have a trap ready to fuck me reeee

I do have dark magic circle and ebon magician to banish but theyre usually ready for that shit somehow aaaah

Idk maybe its a good exchange since i dont have as much trouble with the other meta decks as i do with this one

I've started to main 2 d.d. crow and already had 2 called by in my tri-brigade. They usually scoop as soon as they get crow'd once.
