If we have to warn Peace Corps people to watch out for racism from these people. Should we really be welcoming 100,000 of these people in to America. Hell like they say with other immigrants. They have to pass a lot of places before they get to America. Let them stay in Poland. People who spoke about this before was gas lighted. People say they were just falling for lies and such. But the peace corp is saying it. And these people want people to go over there and help.

A little too late for that. Black students studying abroad have already been discriminated against there. Also shame on the Ukrainian people who are letting this war bring out the worst in them, especially since last time I checked the majority of the Russian army invading them isn't black.

if someone wants to volunteer, and there are perceived risks, then warn them about those risks so that they can make an informed decision.

some people still want to do what they feel is right even if it means it can hurt them in some way.

Its probably mostly the older Ukrainians who are like that. Not the young ones

that's just how it is. when people aren't subjected to other races, they only know about them through stereotypes and such.

but it really depends. you should just be aware of the culture you're in. for example, i'm hispanic and i got harassed way more in mexico for having dreadlocks, than i did in japan (sans dreads) even though most of them had never seen a hispanic person face to face before. but it doesn't hurt to be aware of what you're getting into.

Perhaps you should let the racists die and not make an effort to save them.
