E3 has been a boring super-squeaky-clean trade show for years now and nobody cares Exactly. E3 was a early 2000s thing like G4TV. Its just too easy and profitable to release a trailer on your own site/YouTube. Why spend X amount of dollars going to a event when you can just create a trailer and website for a fraction of the cost? Rockstar is a great example of not needing E3. Kinda sad, but it's just a massive waste of time and resources now that we got, ya know, the internet.
