Neat was the exact word that came to mind. I need to jump back into Bloodstained and see all the new shit from release.

Looking forward to that when it hits Switch, sounds like it has more to it than Zangetsu mode.

I still need to play Child of Light one of these days

I really wanted to like that game, but it felt too bloated. The side quests existing for instance made me groan.

Child of Light was good but it ends VERY abruptly. You get to what appears to be the final dungeon and then it just ends.

Also the beginning of the game has some okay platforming then you get the ability to FLY with no cooldown. So the entire rest of the game you're just flying around instead of doing any platforming.

I'd play a sequel but doesn't look like that will ever happen unless they go to Kickstarter or something.

I feel kind of bad for not liking Bloodstained. I really love IGAvanias and wanted to see him succeed without Konami's involvement, but I didn't enjoy it much. Elden Ring captures the fun of them better, really.

Can you imagine if Ubisoft went to Kickstarter lol? I wonder what the largest company to start a Kickstarter/etc campaign has been.

I knew it was Ubisoft but for some reason I thought they just published or it was actually an indie or something.

Platinum did a kickstarter for Wonderful 101 and most people seemed to hate that idea but I didn't mind. I paid my money and got a copy of the game, just like every other time I bought a game but people act like they're being tricked or swindled with Kickstarter for some reason.

Like where you explore blindly and find unique junk everywhere. Weapons, clothes, spells or the ability to summon fire-breathing birds with swords on their talons. A huge number of weird things everywhere you look. That was Aria/Dawn of Sorrows, only partially because of souls.

I really did enjoy Child of Light. Not an amazing game or anything, just very, very enjoyable.
